By this point on the game’s life cycle, is very unlikely.

I really wanted Gouken for SFV as i played him in 4 as well as Juri.
But now ? Hell no for several reasons. This game is indeed in it’s last life cycle and i ain’t really a huge fan of V so more then likely they would ruin the old man.

Exactly why would you even want your favorite character in the game at this point. Surely you’d prefer they appear in the next game.
Never mind the fact that every new character they add requires Seth to get a whole new animation. They not adding another nigga lol.

I don’t get it either. We know the CPT Stage and Idom’s costume haven’t been revealed. So its likely one or both of them being shown tomorrow.

doesn’t play or enjoy SFV, will still buy mak if she comes out to just be reminded that they don’t play or enjoy SFV

While I find any more new characters highly unlikely, they likely just map the new characters animation to Seth’s model.
People really expecting more than just CPT stuff?
Idiots. The only real surprise would be SF6’s announcement trailer.
If you didn’t like the game by AE’s release its not for you. I don’t get people wanting their main in a game they don’t like.

exactly. I’m a huge Scott Pilgrim fan, but if they put the characters in a game I know I don’t like, I wouldn’t give a shit.
Like if Scott Pilgrim was in Smash, I wouldn’t be making any purchases.

On the other hand, can you imagine Makoto in SFV? 
They need to just let SFV sail into the sunset. Next gen is later this year. Let SFV die, use the netcode you made for MvCI and make something new.
Even a lower budget title with a non SF cast would be sick.

Better not be another character, this game has ran it’s cycle. Gimme a trailer for the next fighting game from Capcom. We have enough characters for a vs game at this point lol.

Seth being the last character for V really fits the game and truly represent’s Capcom’s FG division,a mess with also some good ideas from time to time.
You can see there are some dudes that should just make mobile games because they thought adding Seth is a good idea, a character nobody wanted back, but there is also the good side of the team that made him a sexy robo waifu to try and ease on the rage, and I think it worked.
Seth’s visual design in V is cool, I like him.

Talking from my own experience.
There are times that a char can make or break a game for you.
Is not only that if they add the char you want, but also having changes that ruin the fun for you.
My brother for example, while he liked BB, it was more due how Bang and Valkenhain worked.
After some balance changes on BBCSII he simply dropped the game, because he no longer had the chars and tools he liked.
Or take me as an example, while i always loved Samsho since it was 1 of the 1st fgs i ever played, Samsho2019 was only a casual thing to play here and there.
Now that they added Iroha i am more active on the game, playing more regularly and engaging more with my friends and buddies from facebook groups and discords dedicated to the game.

A character will make or break if you like a game.
I don’t think a single person plays a game they like or are meh on of they don’t have a character they vibe with.
I can’t tell you how many times I stared at SF5 screen and am like… I really don’t like any of these characters like that.
And the ones I do enjoy a bit suffer from the game engine and meta… Aka try hard characters.

The weird part about SF5 is that it has a lot of cool stuff. The whole package just works kinda weird. Then the mechanics are unsatisfying.
