Coop can mostly kick rocks. If I’m not trying to read a story by myself, I sure ain’t trying to hear it with another person.

Also, lol Nioh has a story? It got bodied by skips.
I didn’t lose interest because it was hard.
But last thing I’m gonna do is explain why I picked something up for a bit and then stopped. I’ve picked up and stopped playing a lot of other single player games too.
For the record I am no less confused about this whole shabang.
But I have got to face the reality that I am all talk and I am never gonna end up playing a non fighting game anytime soon.
In the last 3 years the only games I have played that are not Fighting games were MMORPG (Wow or FFXIV) MHW, and last week I played helltaker.
I have tried to play Katana 0, Icey, Nier Automata and maybe something else, but I always get about 1hour in, I like the games, but then I end up never launching them again.
Don’t tell that to the spoiled brats, who hold Dark Souls as the holy grail of difficulty and measure their overall gamerskill on their Souls Playtime.
There was a Thread in the Yakuza Forums from a guy with 900+ hours on Dark Souls, complaining that he cannot beat Kuze, the first Boss.
It should be easy for him and not impossible difficult, cause he is a Souls veteran.
Of course he got clowned on by everyone for that.
And yes Nioh had a Story, if you don’t care for Story you can skip trough it and enjoy the game for the gameplay.
It’s fine, we all enjoy games different.

Soul games are the 1frame link combo’s of the gaming genre now.
I only played the PS4 Dark Souls remake but the best thing about it were the Invasions. To be honest, I got bored with it quickly and I was terrible and wasn’t a threat to any invader/invadee.
I can’t wait for Doom Eternal to get this damn mode though. I’m gonna Marauder chop assholes in their back

Man. I’m playing Rival Schools with this Hinata player and she starts throwing her tennis shoes at me as a projectile.
This game is godlike.
Rival schools is some dope shit, and it also had a very low barrier of entry, but Capcom just went and killed it.
It’d be sick to get a lobby going with some of ya’ll. I’m having a blast learning it.
Look my early gamerdays, after my Childhood were Gothic 2, Ratchet and Clank and a buttload of Dawn of War.
If something isn’t working, maybe switching strategy or trying a different approch will help.
I don’t care if I lose, I just look at the situation and try something else.
Heck people thought I was trolling, cause I used Commisars in Dawn of War in the early game to rush anything, because they don’t have their full effect like that.
But they also bind ranged units into Melee and my frail Guardsmen can pew pew everything down with ease.
Approche A doesn’t work, how about approche B?
This is what I hear from Souls Veterans:
I have 900+ hours in Dark Souls, why am I losing so many online matches in FG “X”, I should body these people!

Played the first game, got bored, didn’t play it again.
Maybe I would like it better now, but I think I stay away from them.

Souls veteran or not, you’re probably just talking to shitty people period. I have thousands of hours between these games and have never felt the need to lord it over people. If anything I just try to get others to play these games.

Ever played Dark Messiah of Might and Magic ?
Actually pushed the source engine to it’s limits imo.
And it has Xana, gotta love Xana.

I don’t think I ever finished that.
But I did play it.
Quite a good game if i do say so myself.
Just take my advice and max out poison resistance. Trust me…just do it or the spider levels will make you uninstall.
