It will be a re-purposed version of the XIV engine. Overall resolution has been lowered to 720p and the frame rate is locked at 30FPS to support functionality on multiple ports, including a mobile phone version.

A bit late but for Setsuka’s jfs, if you do the lazy inputs they take a bit of your meter, around 10% of a bar.
In some combos its worth it coz the window is too tight but otherwise always go for the proper inputs.
Zekus isnt really the replacement of Guy, but Gen.
He is there to fulfill the same role, both in story and gameplay, of the old master that has a dual stance mode.
I see what you mean in terms of gameplay but story ?
Now, i do not claim to be all knowing when it comes to SF story but how does Gen fill in the role for Guy when it comes to story ? Surely Zeku fills the bushinryu side of things when Guy is missing.
I do consider Zeku a more interesting character than Guy but i think most prefer Guy because he is more iconic.
