@MilesRiey Deadline for the costume contest is in less than 2 hours.

Edit: It’s PST time…so you have like 4 hours. My bad

Quince is OD…until he faces any offensive character. Then it’s a matter of who gets their momentum started first. It feels like Patriot Mirror or bust. But against any other character he can just roll you.

But Onimaru is just made for me. All you need is pokes.

EDIT: YES, I lived the Quince Dream! CH Consent of the Governed into a Patriot Mirror that hit! It’s like Super Marvel in that bitch at that point!

EDIT2: Two RQs already, always funny.

Fantasy Strike sucks. God I hate this. Back to SF.

So the devs of Fantasy Strike will soon be making changes and will allow Core owners to invite free to play friends. :+1:

Nevermind, this game is amazing.

They need to fix the goddamn servers before anything else.

Anyway, more indepth on the two characters.

Quince: As I mentioned, he folds badly to any sort of pressure. His C can get him out of trouble sometimes but usually it can get you blown up. Also his Consent of the Governed seems to confuse the user more than the defender. Patriot Mirror is kinda weird in that it can be the most busted thing in the world, or complete garbage. But I think he’s pretty good.

His biggest issue though is that he seems to break the game. Not in the ā€œoh god he’s too bustedā€ sort of way. I mean in the, ā€œthe game literally cannot handle either of his Supers without crumbling under the strainā€ way. Even in good connections shit can go haywire REALLY fast, and god forbid you’re in the Quince mirror and both of you threw out Consent of the Governed. That and the servers…it’s fucking rough out there.

Onimaru: I think they designed him incredibly well. He hits like a fucking freight train and every poke feels satisfying. But ironically his punishes for anything that isn’t incredibly unsafe are terrible. Both his supers feel good, and he meshes into the cast fairly well.

The game itself still lacks consistent Anti-Airs though for most characters which is still a bad problem. There is nothing more frustrating than characters being able to go jump happy on you if you’re not on the part of the roster that is allowed AAs.

Yeah, they’re working on the server issues thankfully.

Jesus Cammy actually has the worst feet in SFV

The King has returned:

I swear, all of Highland’s videos make me want to boot this game back up and main Sagat again. And while I’ve been having a lot more fun in other games, I miss the Ranked grind.

I’m buying a new modem/router in a bit because our internet has been absolute shit for a while. I may test out a few matches after that… Not sure when that will be as I’m still super busy with work, but think I’m going to slow down in a bit because I can’t handle it anymore… especially when I’m getting paid the same either way.

Anyways, enough rambling, anyone know of any good modem/routers to buy?

I know to avoid modems/routers with the Intel Puma 6/7 chipset, but that’s about it,

BBTag and DLC seems to be on sale on PSN.

Do all of the characters have their own resources/mechanics like they do in BBCF or is it more simplified?

Check out my tips in Uber

$6.66 :metal::smiling_imp::metal:

their resource/mechanic is baked in if used. In some cases the mechanic is still there but extremely simplified (see Rachel’s wind, Nine’s spells)

All you really need is Yumi, she enables a lot of bullshit teams, none is as much bullshit as Yumi/Adachi tho.
