Quince is ODā¦until he faces any offensive character. Then itās a matter of who gets their momentum started first. It feels like Patriot Mirror or bust. But against any other character he can just roll you.
But Onimaru is just made for me. All you need is pokes.
EDIT: YES, I lived the Quince Dream! CH Consent of the Governed into a Patriot Mirror that hit! Itās like Super Marvel in that bitch at that point!

Anyway, more indepth on the two characters.
Quince: As I mentioned, he folds badly to any sort of pressure. His C can get him out of trouble sometimes but usually it can get you blown up. Also his Consent of the Governed seems to confuse the user more than the defender. Patriot Mirror is kinda weird in that it can be the most busted thing in the world, or complete garbage. But I think heās pretty good.
His biggest issue though is that he seems to break the game. Not in the āoh god heās too bustedā sort of way. I mean in the, āthe game literally cannot handle either of his Supers without crumbling under the strainā way. Even in good connections shit can go haywire REALLY fast, and god forbid youāre in the Quince mirror and both of you threw out Consent of the Governed. That and the serversā¦itās fucking rough out there.
Onimaru: I think they designed him incredibly well. He hits like a fucking freight train and every poke feels satisfying. But ironically his punishes for anything that isnāt incredibly unsafe are terrible. Both his supers feel good, and he meshes into the cast fairly well.
The game itself still lacks consistent Anti-Airs though for most characters which is still a bad problem. There is nothing more frustrating than characters being able to go jump happy on you if youāre not on the part of the roster that is allowed AAs.
Yeah, theyāre working on the server issues thankfully.

I swear, all of Highlandās videos make me want to boot this game back up and main Sagat again. And while Iāve been having a lot more fun in other games, I miss the Ranked grind.
Iām buying a new modem/router in a bit because our internet has been absolute shit for a while. I may test out a few matches after thatā¦ Not sure when that will be as Iām still super busy with work, but think Iām going to slow down in a bit because I canāt handle it anymoreā¦ especially when Iām getting paid the same either way.
Anyways, enough rambling, anyone know of any good modem/routers to buy?
I know to avoid modems/routers with the Intel Puma 6/7 chipset, but thatās about it,

Do all of the characters have their own resources/mechanics like they do in BBCF or is it more simplified?
their resource/mechanic is baked in if used. In some cases the mechanic is still there but extremely simplified (see Rachelās wind, Nineās spells)

All you really need is Yumi, she enables a lot of bullshit teams, none is as much bullshit as Yumi/Adachi tho.
