The Street Calibur 5 Lounge: The Soul Burns But not as Hard as the FGC is Burning

No, just Jewish.

FUCKING FINALLY.!!! :ok_hand: :ok_hand:

LMAO, What facts?
All fgs run equal or better on PS3 & PS4.
This stupid myth only holds for capcom fgs on the PS3 era, which were poorly optimized for the PS3, and only for SF4 and MVC3, SFxT runs better on the ps3.

GTFO with that stupid nonsense.

You tripping? PS4 is the standard because most FGs are in it/exclusive to it like SFV.

You have to see thye amo0unt of ignorant shit a lot of people keep posting to this day, like games run better on Xbox, or that the PS3 or $ has extra native input lag.

It is amusing to dismantle that nonsense with what amounts just a quick google search and 2 or 3 clicks and see how they try to keep rationalicing the dumb shit they post.

Historically, the only games that have run “better” on the M$ brand have been the SFIV series and The MVC3 series.

With both SFIV versions running different types of worse when compared to the Arcade and PC, and with MvC3 being that it had the same deficiencies in different places.

Is a fucking placebo effect that sadly a good chunk of people, even pros still perpetuate to this day.

Despite we have great amounts of factual evidence that shows how stupid those claims are.

What irks me of all of this is that those fools generalize that capcom didnt care enough to guarantee parity between versions an say that every other devfeloper was as equally careless.

At times like these, you remember that Infil started out as a 09er Xbox stan when he played IV.

People be trippin.

Besides, we all know the Switch is the best FG console on the market rn.

That is not how you spell a hacked WiiU to run emulators and be able to play Karnos Revenge.

You have some truth in this but you’re also wrong. Im not gonna bother looking up actually facts though. because like you said they all had issues in different areas at some point. I also don’t want fighters ran on console.

Well maybe this upcoming gen with the XSX.

PC>>>>>> unless we talking mortal Kombat or anime games. Smh

PC will never be the standard unless is the only place to play the game or is lastest version, like what happened with Them Fighting Herds, Skullgirls and Melty Blood for example.

It lacks the convenience that a console has.
Add that the majority of the userbase of FGs are on consoles, mainly the Sony family.

Also, how am i wrong if actual facts back up what i am saying and proove that Infil statement is pure nonsense?, lmao.
Or is that a way to say, i lose, but not really?

Accept it, only 2 games run “better” on the Xbx brand, the rest run equal, or actually better on the Sony brand most of the time.

Hell, of some of the games that had Arcade versions, they also ran better on PS3/PS4, like Xrd, which had 1f less of delay on the PS3/4 and because of that some tournaments on japan used the input delay feature to add 1f more so it could be on par with the Arcade experience, lol

It’s not just that.

Multiple PC setups are just too expensive, not to mention potential driver issues.

You also don’t use one of the biggest advantages of a PC, which is the versatility.

It’s just not really worth the investment for TOs.

Skullgirls only got changed to a PC tourney at Evo because it was online, otherwise, you can bet it’d be on PS4.

Just make PC the standard, they want to be eSports they need to hit the eSports standard of PC being the main plattform and filthy console peasants sitting in the dirt, begging for low input delay, stunning visuals and better online experience.

Remember you can play Xrd on PC with only 1f of input delay, PC Players are basically gods at this point.

yeah, consoles are so convenient, if you think about it if a console has a life span of 5 years you only have to spend about 600$ to access internet services.

As a seasoned TO who otherwise prefers playing FGs on PC if I can: fuck running offline tournaments on PC.

LMAO, and despite that consoles still offer more convenience than PCs to the players.
Also, we are talking about the convenience as a TO.

For a tournament, even if i dont have enough units to run it, i can ask friends/players to just lend theirs so i can have enough.

With PC’s i have to deal with the extra headaches that i and many others prefer to not deal with.

LMAO, you know that is impossible to have 1f of input delay, right?
The lowest theoretical amount of input delay you can have is 3f
1 for the controller, 1 for the console/program, 1 for the display.

It is the sole reason why 3 to 4 frames of input delay is considered the golden number.

I know pc beggers love to say stupid shit, but that takes the cake of dumb shit i have seen so far.

Debatable. But not the point rn.

Exactly. Why tf is paid online being raised as a problem when we’re talking about offline tournies?

Pretty sure he was referring to this, y’know…

I am pretty sure he wasnt.

I was, you mongrole

Set aside that none of the posts before Naeras’ was talking purely of Tournaments (weren’t even mentioned)
If you think Consoles are more convenient than PCs for players you’re nearsighted.
As per tournaments are concerned, I do see the point for small tournament, but for eSports?
I think it is worth considering the extremely higher amount of sponsorship money PC esports get from PC companies:
I don’t know if this would be a certainty, but I would like to make an argument of switching to PC bringing increased sponsorship for big tournaments.
The Chinese Tournament that ran SFV was loaded with money. I do feel like Sony has been nickeling and diming the FGC in that regards, while Intel is prone to splurging money.

Then be clear about it you fucking twat.
And aftet some digging i saw that your claim is fucking nonsense anyway.
Xrd keeps on the 4f id on pc as is consoles, so dunno what the fuck were you about with that shit :joy:
