The Street Calibur 5 Lounge: The Soul Burns But not as Hard as the FGC is Burning

There has been some bad books out there to be sure. I just don’t mine to be one of them.

Edit: I gotta long day ahead of me. I need to make sure I get to Virginia before UFC 251 goes down. I’ll catch yall later.

I find that hard to believe.

Not the grounded game being good, mind you.

What I don’t believe is you staying on the ground long enough to realize that.

Vega doesn’t even have a robbery VT!

So you made that one up just to make JoJokes?

For real tho, congrats on the book.

Well the name honors my parents and hide my actual name. My first name is very uncommon. Don’t want people knowing it. I like to be left alone.

This album cover, and the band ideology is pretty cool

The Hippie Revolt, inspired by the documentary of the same name along with the plethora of underground cult cinema of the 1960’s and early 1970’s, is a musical project helmed by Matt Schmitz of the doom/psych band Sleestak. Taking totally far out samples from these films about drugs and the occult, he injects them into a set of mostly instrumental songs ranging in sound from the psychedelic Haight Ashbury love-in scene to the downtuned sludge of early proto and prog metal.

Ah, I see it now.

Even more respect. Always gotta honor the old folks. :+1:

Can’t wait for the fight island card! It’s gonna be good!!

Me too. The only fight that I expect to be really one-sided is the Aldo one, but even then, someone with that experience can’t really be ignored.

So I’m kinda freaking out because my internet is acting up. Really, it had to be today!?

Edit: Come to think of it, how come I don’t see you hanging around the MMA thread?

Jfc that spine groove is perfect

Isn’t alcohol supposed to make you sleep easier? I was out drinking last night and it took forever for me to fall asleep

It does for me, but only once the drunk ness starts wearing off.

a glass of wine is going to make you sleep easier, actual drinking is going to make it harder, until you pass out that is.

Nash won’t AA me huehue.

The fact that they gave him a Genocide Cutter and only the EX Version is a somewhat useable AA is worth burning the entire Company to the ground.

I don’t know what you’re saying because these words are alien to me. But sure. Fuck Capcom! Bad netcode company!

You don’t know what a Genocide Cutter is?

Nope.

Because Capcom and SNK haven’t spent the lions share of their existences dunking on each other in some way?

This is Rugal Bernstein, the Endboss of KoF94 and 95. He’s also the Boss of KoF98 and 2002 and a secret Superboss in 2002UM.

This is his Genocide Cutter:

Literally the same thing Nash does for H and EX Scythe.
One of the most frustrating DPs a Boss ever had, duo to it being gigantic (and since he’s a SNK Boss, his Boss Versions DPs are usually + ob)
Also seeing this after Kens release was hilarious to me:

Now that you mention it I’m pretty sure Nash’s EX Scythe didn’t get any kind of AA invincibility until a patch or two ago. Before that trading was pretty common.
