The Street Calibur 5 Lounge: The Soul Burns But not as Hard as the FGC is Burning

@darc_requiem you got Power Rangers?

The OG mainstream lesbians. Suck it, Hollywood

Nah, I never tried to make any Power Rangers. Just DC/Marvel/Fighting Game characters. I had to start deleting my original characters to make room for others.

That show got ā€œTumblr’dā€ before there was Tumblr. Once they started letting fans write the show it went off the rails and we got Xena/Gabrielle.

Ultras could’ve at least been mashed out on wakeup, blocked, and heavily punished. What the fuck do you do against a blocked V-Trigger that also acts as a cancel into potentially another blocked special with an advantage? Or against somebody like Vega who just flies through you to the opposite end of the screen?

Guess Barnes & Noble finally sent. A half-assed book from a half-assed author who literally rigged up a cover with minimal artistic skill and improper proper software. Now I can pack up to go home for my mom’s birthday. Can’t believe UPS came so damned early. I would have packed already. BTW: That’s not my government name.

I believe you, Joseph.

But seriously, you wrote that book??

If my first name was Joseph, I would have to deal with lot more racist bullshit going on job interviews. Glad I have an ethnic first name. Cuts down on the bullshit I have to deal with from undercover racist.

Edit: Yeah I wanted to see if I could do it. I’ve done short stories and poetry before. Took me about a year and half to write the thing. Don’t plan on selling it or anything. Only printed one copy. I’ll read through it again, see if I missed any other errors and I may see if I can a friend to draw me a real cover for me.

Still, that’s awesome, dude, congrats. I could never write a book. What is it about?

What else would over grown nerd right about swords, a small bit a magic. The standard fantasy stuff…to a degree. Had to put my own spin on things of course. I thought writing sequel would be easier than the original but keeping narrative consistency is a pain in the ass.

Maybe you could create your characters in SC6.

Actually did create a few of them already  Before I ever wrote the book. I gave them pseudonyms though. I only made three of them though. I’d probably need all my slots for all of them. I wonder how many characters my first book had…I should count. I did create a reference guide to keep track of everything.

I hope your book becomes so successful it’s made into a movie!!

And I’d want to act in it! Lol
And who woulda thought you’d release a novel before Dime :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

That would require me to have the guts to try and sell the thing. I haven’t set up my vendor account on Barnes & Noble.

If/when you get it setup, let us know. I’d like to buy a copy.

worst that can happen is you don’t sell copies… which is the same thing that will happen if you don’t put it up for sale.
