I’m more in beef with the hypocrites who constantly whine how terrible SFV is AND THEY KEEP PLAYING IT!
“Oh yeah I really hate this game to it’s very core, thats why I keep playing it.”
At least Dark has an excuse in that he hates himself so much, that he plays SFV for that reason alone…
could we say SFV is officialy torture then?
Honestly this behavior is why I love when EVO and Capcom Cup roll around. Everyone here is always super hyped up over the tournament and/or reveals so the vibe in the thread is really great. Even when I don’t watch myself I can appreciate the feeling.
It’s sort of like the holidays if you know what I mean…everyone being more friendly and stuff.
Looks like something you would see in a race car, but with armrests.
Is it actually comfortable?
Yeah, gaming chairs are unbelievably comfortable.
The red one you see was a surprise present from my wife, and it’s a cheap 70$ affair, when I first tried it I was in disbelief on how comfortable it was. And this new one is the real deal, and holy fuck it feels so nice.
Expecially for keyboard stuff, you get to be at the perfect height so that your wrists don’t rest on the edge of the table.
So what you’re saying is I’m doing it wrong by sitting on the floor?
not really, if you’re using a controller or a stick you’re fine wherever you feel comfortable. For Using a keyboard and mouse though, this is dope.
Hah, my younger brother is your age …wait I need to replace my bed with a sarcophagus
Won’t your ass feel pain after sitting on the floor though?
And yeah. Evo, Capcom Cup and Tekken World Tour are like Christmas to me.
I’m all the way in Singapore, yet I stay up to watch everything. From night to early afternoon, I’ll watch everything. And I always celebrate the final day of these big events by ordering some really good food.
I even watch some of the anime ones even though I don’t play them. It’s like celebrating being a fighting game player.
Watching people being happy and feeling their excitement at a reveal or a great match makes me beam with joy. Just so much positive vibes all around haha.
Darc I always thought we’re around the same age haha.
I do miss tournaments. They are basically my version of watching “TV” since I don’t really watch anything else. Only stream I’ve really been watching lately is the weekly online granblue nlbc tournaments.
Thinking about it… sucks we havent really gotten to see offline granblue yet
Tournaments are a different beast, good commentary makes everything hype.
The Panda global 10v10 with commentary from Obama and Jyuna are great, and so have been the weekly ronin rumbles on Geoff’s channel.
Nah I sit on carpet bro lol. Laptop sits on a crate so it can be elevated but still breathe.
Yea, jiyuna is actually a pretty solid commentator. Probably one of the best solo commentators out there.
Never use to care much about commentators before, but now that I watch fighting game streams to relax sometimes it’s nice to not have terrible people on the mic
The last one, SNK VS SF japan it’s a riot from start to finish.
gamers rise up
Decided I was gonna try and learn hitbox again since I have the thing.
Man I feel like I’ve never played a fighter before trying to learn this.
This would take months on consistent play to get use to, and that’s only with sf5.
It’s laughable how bad I’m struggling is
Didn’t you get those when you were playing with Retroarch?
I tried to play on keyboard once to see if I would adapt better to Hitbox.
It feels wrong. I dunno how people do it.
I know this sounds crazy, but keyboard isn’t a good litmus test on if you would be able to adapt to hitbox imho. I did the same thing and had the same thoughts. Was bored and built a hitbox anyways, and it was night and day.
Spacing, button sizes, the amount of force, and having it in a hefty case changes everything.
It’s sort of like the difference between tennis and badminton . They look similar, but very few things actually transfer
Tight tiny shorts for once, and ain’t that all that matters?
