Steve looks like a really cool character I’m hoping to team him with Ibuki or Hwoarang. Who do you think will be good for him as a partner I think Steve will benefit from Ken.
i think anyone that can open the opponent up while on point and has good juggle properties when u tag cancel their specials cuz when steve comes in off a tag cancel, he has alot of good tekken target/chain combos that can lead to good damage, will be crazy what people will discover when the game drops
That sound like Ken Kazuya or Ibuki to me. Steve does seem to do good damage which could also help somebody like poison who doesnt do that much.

Did everyone know that Steve apparently has both Peak-a-boo and Flicker stances in this? At least according to the move lists added to Event Hubs. Wonder what that changes as far as his normals, combos, etc. Steve might be a higher execution character (does that exist in this game?) if he has stuff like stance cancels for pressure and combos which is cool.
Just like E to the electric said cross rush is mostly used to tag in your character safely. Once we get the game we can be able to extend combos. Look at this combo by steve some crazy stuff.

Yes, I love that combo. I’m gonna recreate it in my CV if possible, just because.
try to recreate it with out using cross rush. Personally my Favorite one was the bob on Ken. That was sick. I can’t find it anywhere. it’s start of by a crumple by Bob
But he uses cross rush, in the video, so I guess I’ll have to use it :S The combo already uses 4 bars, it will be hard to use more than that.
I’ve been playing tekken 6 for the past few days and pouring all my time into steve. It seem like his flicker 1 is that AA/mid/low jab we’ve been seeing. I hope he has broken juggles like in tekken 6 lol. I also saw sonic fang >_< I want this game so bad.

Nah it is a command normal. Just causes a hit. But loads of his moves chained into target combos.
From the FCC stream, NYC Fab was rocking Steve on point from most of the time. I believe Steve does make a great point character because of his normals and then follow it up with the assist. Also, I love his projectile, reminds of me of Dan’s when it comes to distant but I think that has tons of follow up potential.

I’m hoping his duck+1 staple juggle is in this game =D. Such an amazing juggle.
