Lol i got owned, thanks for pionting that.i am not pleased withtek innovations.all they have is acrylic cases,i much prefer wood or plastic.it seems impossible to find a wooden stickless case, but wood stick cases are goddamn everywhere.
You can try asking the people at foehammer if they can do a hitbox layout. I think they gave out a reason where they explain why they don’t have that layout but I can’t remember right now but it won’t hurt to ask.
If what I’ve looked up is right, to turn my Brawlstick SE or SFxT Pro into a hitbox (from what I’ve read, it seems to take the same stuff?), I’ll need Toodles’ TE Kitty board? Someone correct me if I’m wrong. I’m an absolute noob. Don’t even know how to solder.
But if I’m right, I’ll need the TE Kitty, harness for buttons, hitbox panel, new buttons, and is that about it? I’m not exactly sure on the cleaning SOCDs and stuff, or if I even need to do that. I only play TTT2. Lol.
And also, which would be easier/better to mod into a hitbox? I ask because of the possibility with size constraints inside the case when it’s all assembled.
Right now, I’ve got two Brawlsticks and one SFxT Pro, and if the Brawlstick is the same/easier to mod into a hitbox, I’ll just end up returning the SFxT Pro. I’m just liking the smaller profile.
Nope, TE Kitty is for dual modding. For a stickless mod, you’ll need some extra buttons, wiring, and a custom (or modified) face plate. SOCD cleaner is optional.
IIRC the SFxT has a flat panel which, I expect, is easier to replace, and more room for the button layout. Beside that, the modding is largely the same.
With regards to the SOCD cleaner, what’s involved with it? I’m not exactly sure how to do it.
To wire it is intuitive. It say’s to PCB and to buttons on the board. Just solder it up.
Oh boo. I don’t know how to solder. But I may be able to find someone nearby that does. Thank you
Soldering is easy. Just do it. Do it, Do it.
Haha. I wouldn’t even know where to start or what to get to solder.
I converted one of my of hori rapex sticks to this stickless style a while back ago. While it took a little to get used to I definitely see the benefits to it.
Sadly, it just sits on my desk getting no use since that first week. Lol I wish more people were into them to I could sell the damn thing:cool:

Tek-Case does amazing plexi though i understand your point. Try Nitewalker for your wooden hitbox needs. He does good work and is a fine seller. Good rep, such and such.
any of you know where i can find a hitbox faceplate for this stick
Could someone point me to where I could buy a 5-pin JLF harness to hitbox buttons? I know someone posted how to make one back in the thread but I’m far too lazy/inept. I’d even pay someone to do the little amount of work. :3
so who makes custom stickless sticks and ships to Toronto, Canada? I need a custom one because I would prefer to have the movement buttons in a WASD type layout…
My first All buttons Controller the "broken box"
all sanwa OBSF-30 (i prefer 30 than 24, i feel more comfort using 30mm)
PS360+ (dualmod and build in SOCD cleaner)
custom layout:
…p1 p1 p3
left up right
…k1 k2 k3
…down

i prefer this layout because:
-rather than using middle finger, it is easier using thumb for down button. (colaborating ring finger and thumb is easier than ring and middle finger)
- normal ABC layout confused me, because up button is lower than down buttons. so when it comes to reflex, i always press the wrong button (my natural mindset are up is high, down is low)
using this layout, i feel more easy adapting to ABC because it feels more natural
after puting artwork

^ Your hitbox pictures disappeared Put it up again so I can keep being jealous!
The images aren’t showing here for me either, but if you just view the images in a seperate browser window/tab they show up just fine. In case you still can’t see them, I’ve uploaded them to my site and reposted below.
Obviously wazwuz still owns the pics, etc.
anyone have one with a WASD layout?
