I have a request for a TE stick. After looking around for some images, these were the best i could find, hopefully they’ll look good.

Specifics:
I’m planning on painting the case blue or a light blue, so I would like the background to be some shade of blue. Anything kind of design you think would look good. I was thinking of having the one of chun li kicking be the main image on the left, and the group shot of her with fei long and gen kind of transparent in the background design where the buttons are (im not sure if that would look good or not, but it does in my head haha). And text (its in chinese “ye fei bin”) ??? in the bottom right, If you need some images of calligraphy here they are.
I made the trio more of an elusive shadow on the background, leaving any color in really overwhelms the pic. Also, I put chibichun on the right ^^;, it gives balance.
Alternate 275: Any specific colors or design? And then, just those 3 bishes?
DingDongOutlaw: I know you requested a music stick, I’ll try and get to it, but it just seems too simple, haha. “Treble clef, k, some triplet notes… and you’re DONE”. = p I’ll try playing around with it though.
Basically, I was wondering if anyone could do like…a purple-and-black themed design using these characters with the quote “These are a few of my favorite things…” and my gamertag (d4h0b0n1nj4) with an MvC2 TE template? That would be SO awesome man! I wish I could do it myself, but I just don’t have the skills with photoshop or any of those photo editing programs just yet. Can anyone give this one a shot for me? I’d really appreciate it.
Lemme know if that’ll work. Found a couple wallpapers of music stuff that looked like that, so I took a couple parts and reworked it, and put it in the greyscale since you wanted black and white.
Lol, DJReimei: Nice source images. The white backgrounds are kind of 50/50. They make it really easy to cut out with the wand, a lot of the time. Other times, it’s sitting there for an hour pen cutting one character out. Maybe not an hour, but those hyper real characters are a pain to work with, hehe. = p
That looks amazing! Dude, you do GREAT work REAL quick! I gotta get that one. Now that I actually see the idea for my dream stick template in physical form, do you think it would be possible to see what it would look like with a more streamline or modern-looking design for the background, and more purple than black? I don’t want to feel like I’m asking for a lot! Sorry if it seems that way. I really do appreciate it! I was so excited, I couldn’t WAIT to see what you’d do. Could I get the full-sized file for this one, as well?
wow thats really sick! Did you use photoshop? If so, do you think i could get the file with all the layers, theres just some very minor details I’d like to try to tune, but really AMAZING job!
edit: By the way, how do people get the stick art on that virtual looking TE stick to see what i would looks like?

Also, the mockup TE is usually made by taking an example pic of the template, and using the distort resize (ctrl+left click) to warp it into position. Then sections are erased to show the stick and buttons. I should probably start making those >>.

I had another idea while editing it and i decided to do it myself. I didn’t do anything to make the pictures i put in to look any better, so i don’t know how well it would turn out on a real stick. I’ll attach the high res work and if there any problems or improvements that could be made. Would you mind?
Actually it looks great man. The higher res link looked fine, I didn’t see anything grainy or blurry, so there’s nothing further I’d do to it.
Hah, yeah, I tried to snag the mockup and it was a broken link, I could only get the TE-S one. I can make a quick ghetto one though, if you just need an easy idea.

If possible, I want to leave the creativity up to you. Although, White/Purple or White/Pink would be nice~ I have no specifics for background/foreground designs

Matt C: Most backgrounds I make from scratch. Sometimes I’ll take a pic and warp it to the point you can’t tell what it was, but yeah. I really want to use more vector art stuff, but those are others’ work and I feel guilty touching them = \
