Jodim is probably the best gief player in the world. This just goes to prove my point, Timothy Hawk is a horrible match up for gief. Hawk finally has an advantage! HIP HIP HOOORAAAAAAY!

u mean Tony hawk :stuck_out_tongue:

haha someone already pointed it out in the comments but that was just an awesome juice kick @ 3:19 in during the finals of afro vs valle. psychic juice kick?!

Yeah, that was ludicrous!

BTW: SPD steering.

atomicboy is toutanki?? since when D:

We were all pretty shocked that worked, I’m not entirely sure Valle thought it would work either, lol. It was a great moment, and both their Winner’s and Grand Finals sets are pretty amazing to watch. Afro and Valle are just on another level.

NH2 has told us that long ago through his blog.

Afro’s zoning and reactions are on point.

Courtesy of Kasugai Five-O, Star Cup 11 will be streamed on 11/13 at 12pm here: http://ja.twitch.tv/nsb1

That’s 10pm EST tonight, which is one of the most reasonable times of any JP tourney for US folks to watch.

The organizers performed some tests last night to confirm that everything was running smoothly so if you’re bored or need more tips, you can watch some of the casuals shown there in the meantime.

Thanks for the heads up, Gan!

For anyone who missed it, I recorded the finals and I’m uploading them now. The playlist is here:

some of the exhibition matches from when Komoda visited Shanghai in 2010. i rinsed a few chinese file-sharing sites but a lot that i downloaded were duplicates, so i think i’m missing a few, but might be interesting to some

At min 7:00 u can c how Mysterious Fighter does a ToD combo: xup hk, dash fierce, cr. mp xx fierce shoryuken

Too bad it doesnt work on standing shotos, n works only when they r crouching

Also at min 8:50 u can see another awesome combo: meaty cr. mk, cr.mk xx super which is actually an expert combo

you are wrong, it works on standing shoto with slim hurtbox too. you just weren’t there when he did that twice.

opponent dizzy, he just walk up dash fierce, cr. mp xx fierce shoryuken

stevetren said he can do that 4 hit standing version (much harder than the 5 hit cross up version) 50% of the time after some practice.

i don’t know how he can do that so often I can’t even do it once
