I think giving him more damage output just in sf4 makes him top 3 easy.

Are you talking about getting reversal dp’d after a blocked j. forward? If so, doesn’t it just depend on how deep the crossup was?
That’s why I use j. RH to crossup Sagat since it’s easier to hit him with it. Ryu not so much.

Well on ryu, if I Sk dash forward, and crossup with J mk it can be reversal DP’d if I DO something afterwards, so much for crossup pressure.
I think your j.mk isn’t deep enough, it’ll combo if they didn’t block but it can be reversaled. But rule #1 when fighting Ryu is never to jump at him, 99% of all jumps are unsafe. And SK dash forward crossup can be snuffed by mash srk even before you land AND it’s a techable knockdown, that’s alone should be a warning to not jump in on ryu.
^ yes, i rarely crossup shotos anymore except during footsies. get them to whiff a normal and you’re already airborne. even then its rare…BUT…there’s a good bait for ya. do a really early j.mk and just sit and block if you think they’re going to DP you.
more blockstun is needed all around and i wish some of his moves didn’t push back as much as they do.
He needs faster recovery on his devils reverse hand… And sagat shouldnt be able to punish a blocked EX Crusher with a kara TU into ultra.
No, it really doesn’t matter how deep you do it because if you wait too long, they’ll nail you out of the air. The game really is THAT dumb. You get on offense and the dp characters are still actually in control.

w00tsick’s problem is that he would get dp’d after a block j.mk crossup which won’t happen if he did the j.mk late enough. So, yes, it does matter how deep he does it. And I’ve already explained, jumping in on Ryu 99% of the time would result in getting dp’d. And getting dp’d outta the air when trying to do a deep j.mk crossup only applies to people that can’t be safe jumped in which is like ryu and akuma, maybe sagat, cammy and ken all I can think of right now.

I do agree that he needs a better PC.
making HS tracking will make HS imposible to punish, which will make him broken, but if capcom do make it trackable, it would be sweet.

Actually I feel like this one is fair. I was playing iloveu joe and he kept doing this to me. It’s annoying but it’s a really smart punish. The only time he landed it on me was when he put pressure on me in the corner and knew that I was going to try and bail on the situation with EX PC.
How is punishing a practically inescapable situation with 50% damage fair?
I would say it’s in the same vein as why you wouldn’t jump in on Rog or Ryu when they are just sitting there and have Ultra.
I can see what you’re getting at though, it would be nice if PC got fixed.
Thing is, against Rogue and Ryu, you don’t have to jump.
If you’re stuck in the corner against Sagat, you should probably find a way out of there.
I’ve seen Sanford whiff a throw with Sagat and still be able to kara TU the EX PC.
The only good thing about EX PC is it is suppose to be safe and yet its not even totally true (especially against the strongest character in the game).
Devil’s reverse really does need to have less recovery. Move is so flawed otherwise the least they could is let us do is build meter with it safely from FULL SCREEN.
Another simple boost for HS/DR would be to take away the startup sound. IT would at least kind of compensate for how slow they are.
Also apparently their buffing Guile’s normals…wasn’t Bison’s only advantage over Guile slightly superior normals? Can’t wait to see that matchup become even more lopsided. However the thing I’m worried about most concerning the other characters is the shoto c.mk hitbox which currently makes skull diver worthless . That move helps escape alot of situations. I really hope they fixed that.
So after listening to Keno’s interview I don’t think they’ll be really making any changes to dictator whatsoever besides MAYBE a damage increase, and that’s only speculation from the las vegas event… Oh well, his new ultra is cool -_-.
After 4 months there has been NO talk of dictator, except in that one dev blog where someone asks the devs to buff lord vega… Heres for hoping.
