This is also pretty much true of Fuerte’s Flying Giga Buster. I imagine you’d use it to punish alot of things Fuerte’s Ultra would punish, but who knows.
Sagat got a move that spends one meter but makes his Next DP double damage. Its kinda risky cause if he whiffs the DP that’s a wasted meter and he had an overall damage reduction made to him along with 50 less health.
I thought his health was reduced to 1000 not 1050.

Well in the followup i spoke of cr. hp making it a launcher in the effect of its Alpah3 incarination where you could special/super off the move. I mean Ryu’s cr. hp is special/super cancelable its 4 frames to startup which is 3x faster than bison, hits for 8 frames which is twice as long as bison’s but recovers in 28 frames opposed to bison’s 21 frame recovery. Bison’s cr. hp is -7 on block and -2 on hit while ryu’s is -18 on block and -13 on hit both have 17 block stun and 22 hit stun. So why the hell can’t bison fucking special/super after his cr. hp?
Bison can cancel into Super after a cr. fierce, but who ever uses his Super?
How about juggle off of slide? I mean, it’s not safe on block, but it’s not impossible to land and already has uses.
In the Ex games iirc it really sent them flipping right over you, very cool effect.
You could make them really fear blocking high even from far away, indirectly making headstomp more useful or even better if he had an overhead.
Think about the properties of Bisons slide and youll understand why that wouldn’t work. Personally I HATE bison’s slide. I wish he just had a regular sweep that I could use as knockdown. Sometimes it comes in handy but still. How would the move create a juggle state? It’s tripping your opponent, not knocking him into the air.
I know that Street Fighter isn’t the most realistic game, but how is even sliding across the ground? One moment he’s standing still then he’s suddenly sliding across the ground like he’s grinding or something. It doesn’t look like he’s using Psycho Power since there’s no purple energy.
That aside, how is he tripping his opponent anyways? He runs his toes into the opponent’s toes, and I guess that hurts enough for them to drop to the ground? I guess if you have fucking hard metal boots it would work if you magically slid fast enough.
Now that I think about it, Bison has hops. He can fucking jump 15+ feet into the air with ease… I bet he’s badass at basketball.
he can fly without purple flames, so, why not just slide?
its rarely used because we have to burn meter to escape from situations such as the corner. However, being able to cr. hp xx PC/Sk or DR/HS increases bison’s mixup ability. Think about being able to AA cr. hp somebody then instead of FA forward dashing to cross them up just using PC to change positions or DR to land behind them as their resetting.
Also, I was reading Bison’s bio and he’s been killed like, 5 times?
That would be nice, but I think cr.fierce should have less startup frames, then it could also be used more often as an AA. I can see where you’re going with it, but I have a feeling it will still be the same in Super.

I was hoping they would make Bison’s scissor kick have a SLIGHT bit more hitstun on the first hit of scissor kick. That way you can scissor FA cancel the first hit, charge to level 2, hit, dash ultra/BNB, I mean hell how much does bison connect scissor kick a game? alot…more so than shoryuken, so I think it wouldn’t give us anymore right to complain about shoryu FADC ultras anymore :P.
I seriously think he’s only one or two frames away from being able to do it anyways…
This would also keep the usefullness of ultra 1 as it looks like it does more damage, ultra 2 for the fireball chars who can be punished easy.
As a dictator main it was depressing to see how he played in street fighter 4. He never uses his signature move because it was so terrible, he has a bad come back and his combo’s are not so damaging. His DR is also now bad because NOBODY falls for it anymore…
So what i think some legit changes are
+Make his physco crusher useful again.
+Make DR a cross up.
+Give more ways to combo his ultra, currently his new ultra is really great it can jump over fireballs, however if the original one stays the same it will be useless.
+Slightly increase his damage output.
+Give him more priority, im tired of having to trade with EVERYTHING. Oh and a ex headstomp trading with a light srk = lol
IMO that’s all he needs, he is already a decent character, just has some flaws.

To be honest, as an opponent to DICKtator, he doesn’t need anything extra. He actually needs to be nerfed in my opinion because all of his moves (normal to special) all have high priority. Just my two cents.
He’s mid-tier, clearly not bad but not good enough to be nerfed. Oh and you gave me a good laugh about PC having high priority, don’t throw cents around when you just don’t know.
