The SSF4 Dictator Request Thread

Super turbo short, forward and roundhouse scissors are +2, +1, and 0 frames on block. Plus I am pretty sure they startup faster and go farther, i dunno though.

PS: I wish Dictator was more of ST style. Plus frames on scissors would be a little too much I think in this game just because for some characters they would be locked down like forever and also characters with solid reversals would be trying that shit everytime knowing you’re going to press the advantage. Whatever though I’m down with any buffs he gets. If DR crossed up it would be at least as useful as Rainbow Roll (not that its exactly useful, but hey, they’re very similar moves, both FA-able, both equally useless, yet Blanka’s crosses up).

Any word on changes to st.Roundhouse and st.Forward? slower start up, priority etc.

Not that I want them changed, love those damn kicks.

Anyways second ultra looks good. If it can punish fireballs on reaction that might be all he needs.

Still holding out hope for a useful PC and a tracking head stomp though.

I want like one standing fierce attack, just close st.HP for all distances

Anyone here wanna translate that for us?? There are enough significant differences between US Bison and Jap bison’s dialogue so I wonder if he’s still saying “Get that out of my sight! Bah such weakness!”

Psycho Shotgun to the chest is the new sickest Ultra in the game, similar to how Nightmare Booster was the sickest ultra in SF4.

I just noticed that crunchy squishing sound it makes when Bison rips his hand out of the opponent’s torso. Very nice indeed. Looks like something out of DBZ.

Nah that would be farily useless. The range on it is short enough that having it activated from far as well would make no difference. Besides, far stand fierce does have some uses (I use it to trade with Boxer’s crouh jab; counter hit st.fierce>>>>>>>>>crouch jab) and is Bison’s most damaging normal.

omg. His ultra is so brutal, it’s almost beautiful. The combination of Norio’s voice acting and that crunching sound when he pulls his psycho-powered fist out… Chills down my spine. I wish the American voice actor for Dic sounded that legit.:sad:

I dont think they are going to change those kicks(I love them). Bison would suck if his heavy kick was nerfed(becuse sissors and PC are weak).
I also love his new ultra, goes thru firebal aswell is nice, and its a non charge move. I will never use Ultra I

The only change I want in bison is to have a better anti air normal. HK could be better

it is great, but not the best. its far from that. It trade most moves, and balrog jumpin attacks beat it. Ryu sometimes beat it.
The best AA normal is balrogs c.hp or sakauras c.hp

The difference is that we cannot combo the trade into an ultra. :frowning:

Sure it has ass startup (in fact, a lot of ultras do), but based on the Jwong video, it has good recovery on whiff (compared to Elf’s ass recovery because he does a stupid pose when he whiffs). I’m guessing that the ultra can be used as an ambiguous cross-up of some sort, since you can control the Dic’s trajectory likes Elf’s ultra I and it activates if the shockwave where Dic lands connects rather than a command throw. Although it doesn’t seem like you can land it off much (like chun’s kikosho, which can be landed after like 3/4 of the moves in her moveset), its seems to help improve Dic’s game compared to the other half of the cast. His new ultra is already looking much more viable than his ultra I, since ultra I had very few ways of landing, very short window of invincibility (compared to Abel and chun’s ultra I), and was very much punishable on block. Dic could have gotten much much worse. At least he wasn’t screwed over with an up,up + KKK command that makes you look like the Tasmanian Devil. :rofl:
