CH crumble :wonder: that’s a pretty novel idea really… a few characters could use that property on a choice normal.

yo, counterhit crumple HK would be sick, but I worry it could be overpowered, considering how badass it is.
It would make a nice distinction between using MK and HK in footsies though.
CH Crumple on an already good poke sounds retarded. Why do you need a distinction between st.Mk and HK? HK functions as a decent anti air and does more damage, MK covers slightly lower ground. If something’s gonna be crumple on counter hit it needs to NOT already be good.
A normal having the ability to crumple on CH is kinda silly in general, especially so when the attribute is applied to a characters regularly used footsie tool. To play along though, if they did give Dictator the ability to do this, it should be applied to far st.fp since getting a CH on that would be quite a feat.
I request we don’t call him dictator any more and they change all the names back to the Japanese versions, the SRK labels are super lame. Somewhere there’s a Japanese designer looking for the real Vega thread

As a serious addition, I’d like him to grin less, it ruins the character somewhat. Gameplay wise, I like him how he is and I think crumple would be a buff too far. It’d be nice if his EX scissors werre able to link into something else perhaps.
Unfortunately we can’t go back to Japanese names, though I infinitely prefer Vega over Bison as Dictator’s name. I agree he should give us his comical evil grin more selectively and less. All his sprites never grinned this much, they always had a sinister inhumane expression. His face should look more like his character portrait in SF4.
I like the smiles. its like he’s having fun whereas most of the cast is all scowls. looking forward to deejay in this sense.
how much do you think capcom is listening to us in regards to specific character tweaks? Do you guys think they’re smart enough to come up with some suitable improvements without having to hear it from fans? i’m really curious because all I’ve been hearing is stuff about juri, t hawk and deejay over and over and over again. when are we going to get updates on our old chars?

As for Capcom listening to any post here; I really doubt it. I figured these threads are around for people at work to waste time on, honestly.

In all seriousness, I just want Capcom to make his FADC combos a little more pragmatic. Actually add more depth to the character. He’s too linear atm.

CH crumple for a normal isn’t a bad idea. Just not for s.HK, his most used normal. Give that to, say. c.HP, and then we’ve got something.
Also, s.MK needs a buff - it doesn’t have the range that it should.
Sarcasm doesn’t work well with text on the internet. To be honest I suspected you probably were being sarcastic but wasn’t 100% sure.

Devil’s Reverse just needs to cross-up. Right now, it’s only really useful for gaining metre.
How about if they made headstomp comboable and from a combo’d headstomp you fall down next to them so u can keep a back charge and it deals enough hit stun to garuntee an ex skull then land ultra, that would look sick I think. Also the combo’d headstomp and ex skull shouldn’t do much damage and just be usefull as a setup. Thoughts?
there is a chance somebody low on the totem pole (or maybe even Seth) is reading these threads (SRK is pretty much the hub for North American/European SF players strategies), but I figure the japanese have already pointed out Bisons flaws
Personally I think Dic is pretty much fine and have no issues using him.
I had issues with the Ultra causing me to teleport for a while, but have since learned that there is some miswiring in my stick that causes some directional misreading. When I do it on any other stick I have no issue at all. If you are teleporting, you are pressing diagonal.
I have little issue connecting his Ultra, Used properly I have little issue making Headstomps and Demon Reverses connect, and anyone with a teleport really doesn’t need better anti-air.
However, if changes are to be made;

It looks like characters are getting a second ultra and thus I imagine a second super. A second psycho Crusher is not so necessary flavor-wise thanks to EX moves. Sakura and Ryu are excellent exampls of using EX to fill in for Supers. However, I would really like to see the level 3 Psycho Crusher from CvS1 brought back as an Ultra. He does a Psycho crusher which drills into his opponents body then throws them away afterwards with a ragdollish body toss.

His Banishing Fist move from the CvS games would be a nice include. Have the EX one reflect projectiles.

Better dive after the Head Stomp. It is way to slow to be useful ever. It should at least be fast enough to be a possible worthwhile mindgame gambit.

Comboability from the Back-kick. It can be comboed from in the EX series and Jam/Evolution. If you are worried about it being game-breaking, make it a command grab. A good replacement for his back grab if this is done is one where he teleports behind someone and laughs, then kicks them in the back really hard.

Instead of reflecting projectiles, how bout a lil crumple? I mean in CvS2 (I never played CvS) Bisons purple fist eat fire balls, (which is enough to make chars with a fire ball think twice about the Bison match up. IMO the reflection of fire balls should stay to Rose.
yo give dictator that bad ass fast psycho crusher, improved arial game, better way to combo into his ultra that is actually useful, just as useful as ryu’s DP to ultra and I think allot of people would be happy with him. the dude is just put a disadvantage and it’s getting gay. either that or characters like ryu and sagat have got to be nerfed.
