I thought other parts of the film were more touching than that, personally. Actually I was enjoying that scene up until the thumbs up. Maybe I felt like the timing was just awkward or something.
And thereās only two scenes in Saving Private Ryan that I care to remember; the rain hitting the leaf in the puddle, and them chillin on the stoop listening to that song.
next time you watch ryan, during the last scene where heās visiting the graves look for the blonde chick with the nice breasts

Finally saw No Country for Old Men. Weak extras on the BR, but the movie was great. I can see why people didnāt like the ending, but I donāt think it totally ruined the movie.
The ending of NCFOM was impeccable. I imagine the naysayers have a hard time dealing with most endings that are actually challenging and donāt wrap themselves up in neat, tidy little bows.
i loved that movie but i want know what happen i did not understand the ending sadly :shake:

sigley did you ever see a horror movie about a slasher who stinks called The Reeker? and did you ever finish going through the ten disc blade runner set?
haha never heard of that movie, is it any good or you didnāt see it
and i watched workprint, final cut, and the ~4 hour documentary on the blade runner thing
still have to go through the 2nd disk full of special features and the documentary about the release history which is like 6 hours of featurretes, deleted scenes, phillip k dick stuff, and other stuff
the ~4 hour documentary is actually really good, didnāt even check the time once and was engrossed the whole time
ford didnāt seem to get along with anyone during the production, not only scott
and its only 5 disks ha, 3 are HD DVD (or blu ray) and the other two are just standard dvdās
iām not sure what is included in the regular dvd special edition though, i think its only 4 disks
