The SRK Movie Fanatic Thread (REVIEWS, QUESTIONS, RANTS, STARS...ETC.) EVERYTHING!

watched In Bruges today. Enjoyed it a lot. Lots of gore at the end, like it turned into Grindhouse

I thought Michael Clayton was solid. Wilkinson was good, Clooney was good, lots of drama, ā€œOWNED!ā€ moment… fun stuff.

Finally got arond to seeing Superbad, really good stuff. Spot-on accuracy with how high school actually was; nice looking girls (not supermodels) that were far more ā€œnormalā€ than you’d suspect, geeks that weren’t hopelessly ugly or unsocialized (just quirky), and 18 year old hair-brained schemes of how/what to do to get laid. Really touched a part with me.

And Becca was way fine.

Just recently saw Kamen Rider The First and today downloaded Kamen Rider The Next.
Both storyline were a little hokey but i enjoyed the fighting scenes alot.

Saw ā€œCasshernā€. Visually stunning, but like most Asian movies that are brought to the states, it felt really disjointed and slapped together.

Watched Mr. Woodcock last night. I can honestly say that was one of the worst movies I’d seen in a while. The movie had no premise, I felt like I had missed an hour of the movie right from the beginning. What a piece of shit.

Anyways, gonna watch Appleseed today.

Watch Mr. Woodcock last night too…Movie just seem lazy…Susan Surandon still looks good though…2.5/10

i saw Rambo…that shit was straight fire son…so badass…havent had that much fun in a theater since grindhouse…what a beastly movie…

im outi

Roberth

really? it seemed like it was gonna be one of those films like ā€œsmokin acesā€, where it tried too hard to be indie and cool…

Further proof of my hypothesis that Keanu Reeves > Kevin Costner. Kevin Costner is probably the worst major actor currently working. Hell, even Nicholas Cage is better.

none of the actors in this post are in Mr. Woodcock?

I think he’s thinking of Mr. Brooks, which was a FANTASTIC movie, even w/ Dane Cook.

Oh, I thought he was talking about the Kevin Costner as serial killer movie. Mr. Woodcock is the Billy Bob Thornton as evil gym teacher flick. Still, my theory still holds true.

you weren’t around back then but i think all 3 of the actors you mentioned were part of my underappreciated actors thread series

i don’t think i will ever understand your fondness for cage, pg…

kevin costner should just stick to baseball movies

bull durham, for the love of the game, field of dreams

3 classics

or playing JFK

Don’t forget Robin Hood.

c’mon…robin hood?! nothing more stirring than a robin hood with an american accent…

i never seen costner’s robin hood so i dunno how he wasi n that

god i’ve been stuck in the house since friday and i can’t leave until next fri at the earliest so all i can do is watch movies

it kinda sucks cause other times i’m like, damn i wish i had more time to watch X

now i have tons of time and i don’t feel like watching anything

anyway thanks to everyones great recommendations i checked out Mr. Woodcock today, so bad. but yea its true, sarandon is definately tappable still. I was thinking that when I saw her in Elah.

i also wwatched Close Encounters in blu ray. It’s amazing how well the special effects in that movie (and Blade Runner too) look today even tho they’re over 25 years old. Some movies that were only made a couple of years ago look fake compared to these.

I’d pick it up, it comes with a nice book about the production and tons of special features

think i’m gonna watch Perfume tonight or maybe King Kong 1976 on HD DVD

House arrest?
