he wasnt soft. Bale’s character wasnt doing anything noble, he just wanted to be a hero for once. The movie showed how Ben Wade either finds people interesting or he doesnt, and he found Bale very interesting. Wade knows he can escape later on down the line and enjoyed doing what he did for Bale out of personal satisfaction, not because he softened
shoot 'em up was awesome. Eastern Promises, I will probably not be seeing for at least another week as it is only in 1 theatre in the Washington, DC area.
Another movie, it is supposed to be better than King of Kong…
Watch the trailer… apparently there was video game groupies? So to all the evolution winners… do you guys / girls have groupies with crazy motley crue parties?
I didn’t like it that much, it was entertaining to watch all the shooting/scoping, but the story line was WEAK, tad bit corny too:wink:, to much predictable stuff.
How is shoot em up? I’m going to see it in 2 hours…
Ah I see, that makes more sense now. thanks for the info.
I thought Shoot 'em Up was an awesome movie. I heard it didn’t do so well in sales, but the previews I’ve seen still caught my interest. It’s a great ‘popcorn’ movie.
hoenstly…i love clive owen, paul giamatti and of course miss sex herself, but i didn’t care for shoot em up so much. i could have waited till dvd for it i think…
Saw King of Kong this weekend. By far one of the best movies of this year. It’s interesting , funny and overall just a really good movie. I can’t recommend it enough.
don’t really think it was as good as A History of violence, but i still enjoyed it
my only complaint deals with the ending, it was pretty bad.
i thought it could be longer and maybe add more to th eending because thats my only problem with it, but a bad ending can ruin an entire movie for most people
didnt get out to the theater over the weekend…stayed in and watched netflix instead
My Bodyguard - different than I what I expected, pretty good
Murphy’s Law - has some great one-liners, not a bad buddy cop/crook drama
Hatchet - this movie is so bloody awful. How there is ANY buzz on this thing is beyond me. This is like a 10th rate Eli Roth movie, and that is being kind. I would even rank this lower than 2001 Maniacs. What a POS all around
i’m so convinced now that hype in horror movies = horrible movie every time
the only horror movies i really enjoyed past couple years were: Behind the Mask: The Rise of Leslie Vernon (no press, limited theater run), 1408, Feast, and All The Boys Love Mandy Lane
that was my primary complaint with history, it felt rushed at points. i still want to see eastern promises, but most liklely i’ll wait for dvd, cuz i’m sure my fiance doesn’t want to see it…
