hmm cant say i would rank MMT above Lord of Illusions DC…
night breed? candyman? lord of illusion?
i thought those were all better
i’m hoping On Jerusalem Street will be good, that is one of my favorite stories by him
i had hope mc g wouldn’t mess up terminator but that new trailer i don’t know. crappy rock song, love, cliche motorcycle riding underneath something collapsing scene
i’m not as excited as i was. they should of just kept that 45 second teaser trailer.
also, tremors 5 has started filming this week. about time. maybe the tv show will actually get a dvd release now
Wait, there was a Tremors TV series?
I guess I missed 3 and 4.
im a terminator junkie so the new trailer still looks good to me. It feels like some of the Dark Horse comics so far
yea 13 episodes, aired on sci fi
i think its free on hulu.com, i grabbed it off itunes before
its alright, it turned it more into a monster of the week type show instead of every episode being about the graboids. the big thing was some chemical that they were planting in the ground. occasionally there was things like the ass blasters or the one from the second movie showing up in random towns and burt going out there to kill them for money.
christopher lloyd was in a bunch of episodes too. it is supposed to follow after the 3rd movie.
the 4th movie was a prequel set in the 1800s.
INteresting. I never knew that, but knowing it was on Sci Fi makes sense. I never saw anythign beyond the first Tremors movie…I only recently found out there was more than one…
I saw the second one in middle school. There were a few funny moments with Burt. Kevin Bacon didn’t return, so his character was written out. I don’t remember it being too shabby, but I don’t remember much of it at all.
This brings up an interesting question, is it a requirement that every sci-fi or horror film that does reasonably well have about 10 straight to video sequels?
William Peterson was in some damn good movies back in the day…To Live and Die in LA, Manhunter…
Wasn’t he in the original Hannibal Lecter movie back in the 80’s?
ya the new trailer looks dope, im hyped about the movie…
i saw synecdoche ny (sp), that movie was fucking halarious, all over the place…reminds me of a david lynch movie, just not as cool…
im outi

So I saw Thank you for Smoking…better than I thought it would be.
Kept me entertained…especially how Nick handles damage control. Funny film with a nice ensemble.
The Last House on the Left (2009). I’m surprised Ms. Monica Potter was cast as the mother. I’m going to see it, but just for the shocks, I doubt it’ll have the same social commentary as the original.
Yup. However when someone who’s best work is the charlies angels reboot is the director there is cause for concern.
He’s better than Ratner…also I enjoyed We Are Marshall.
Just want to put a movie on all your radar…it’s called 500 Days of Summer and is coming out later this summer. It’s a quirky young person romance starring my boy Joe Gordon Levitt. It was at Sudance but I unfort didnt get to check it out but everyone is raving about it.
