anyways, i was going to watch solaris this weekend, but the only free time i had to watch it, i was on mushrooms, and i don’t think it would be a good idea to try and fully experience a russian film while on drugs.
I contemplated suicide since I saw the trailer for “Disaster Movie”. It’s shit like this that makes me wonder if there are any braindead execs even there to greenlight shitty films like this or if there’s just a big pile of money laying around for the “Epic Movie” and “Meet the Spartans” producers to grab and make any god damn piece of shit film. Seriously if this film isn’t representative of the worst sort of hackery and lack of talent, I don’t know what is.
The Signal is random as fuck. Some parts completely ruin the film though. I didn’t really expect it to turn out that way though, I thought it’d be straight up killing left and right.
Ive lost my faith in mankind.
is hancock even out yet? are they really trying to be THAT ahead of the pack? movies that have only been around a few weeks are being parodied. are they seriously just making fun of one gag from every movie that was in the trailer for that specific movie? (the zohan parody, sex and the city, hancock). fuckers…theyre just tossing shit in there with no context whatsoever. Im going to make my own, ready, here is how I would do it.
insert random character from something that has been popular for the last 6 months.
have them say something that is poorly thought out and hopefully grab a cheap laugh out of 4 or 5 people in the theater drunk or high enough to “get it”.
Anyone here watch “The Warlord” yet? It a Jet Li movie (no not that random crouching tiger hidden dragon flying bullshit) It came out in 07 but I finally decided to watch it just now. I liked it but seriously they need to stop making Jet Li so broken in the fight scenes. It gave me a feeling like watching “Troy” but with Asians.
everyone seems to think thats the highlight of the franchise but i like 4/6 the best
5 is up there too for me but i think its more sentimental because i remember USA up all night playing it all the time and i must of watched it 20 times in a year when i was a kid, even if it wasn’t technically a jason movie
i think they’re trying to continue what they started in s3 where nancy really just gets off on doing this illegal stuff and its not really about the money anymore to her
but every episode since middle of 3 has been the same
crazy drug mission -> oh no she’s going to get caught -> oh wait nevermind, swerve you saw in the first 10 mins saves her -> kids complain cause mom isn’t in their life -> andy does something random
but i guess one positive is nancy’s dress gets shorter every episode
i think the whole celia storyline so far is much more interesting than nancy
kevin nealon and celia’s daughter were hilarious last episode, and celia is killing it
too bad she put on like 60 lbs somehow between s3 and s4
Casandras dream - Nat so good, Collin and some other dude as brothers have debts to pay and must go beyond the call of duty to pay them off. Pretty typical plot with typical turns.
My blueberry nights - Meeeh, hot chicks lookin and actin not so hot. Some chick gets dumped, enter life crisis, enter road trip to random towns workin random jobs that would otherwise cost loot and take a long time lookin for places and jobs, but she makes it look effortless…and boring!
Irma LaDouce - Old romance of a prostitute and ex cops funny relation in france.
Rambo - SO manly, it wont just drop your balls or put hair on your chest, you’ll grow fully dropped testicles on your chest (no homo)
i love how they really started to focus on the whole nancy/conrad thing, then the whole things shifts locations…ui know a bit about s4, mostly that she’s living in the san diego area now…
i miss the raw awesomeness of s1 - “what do you call the space between the ass hole and dick?”
Saw Get Smart last night. It had some amusing moments, but the movie as a whole is utterly inconsequential. Hopefully The Dark Knight delivers on the promise of Batman Begins, or this summer season will be very disappointing.
