Yeah, most of the routes around me are. . . not good, because I live in a not good area. 
A driver even questioned me one night, “You do know you’re on (such and such) bus, right?”
I’ve had some “fun” on buses in this city. That said, culturally we shouldn’t let a few bad apples ruin the bunch.
There were times where I would cycle the 60 miles to and from work during the warmer months because it was faster than taking the bus.

There was a derailing topic in the election thread that I found interesting.
It was on the topic of the God of the OT. This isn’t a religious type of post but more of a philosophical one, but I am curious as to why the OT God gets so much flack for the shit he did in the OT.
How many of you ruined yourselves over looking at the dark web, even at just one site? That shit will literally ruin you. It shows how unimaginably evil humans can be. There are things i’ve seen there that I do wish for God to go all OT and probably redo the flood because damn the things over there justifies why this world needs to get retconned.

Idk if you’re talking about Uber, but in places with heavy government regulations Uber can be just as expensive as a regular taxi, that’s how it is where I live. And that’s after we gave billions in bailout to the cab drivers.
I wish it was cheaper, then it would be a real alternative.
im talking all rideshare in general. What states are you talking about? I personally have always found rideshare cheaper than taxis. I travel around for cons and always found them cheaper. even if they are the same i rather rideshares. i def have more control and feel more safe with a rideshare driver.
i dunno if their are stats on rideshare vs taxis car crashes but at least visually ive seen some of the most nastiest crashes in boston come from the taxi drivers.
I’m not American I reside in Canada 
, we don’t have many rideshare apps, Uber is the only one I know of. It can be slightly cheaper sometimes, like 1-2 bucks cheaper but it’s still expensive. The government is not making it easy for Uber with their regulations.
