My new (computer) set up.
As soon as I’m done transferring my important stuff from that laptop, I’m gonna launch that piece of shit straight to the X-Zone.
It took me 5 hours to get all this set up, from the desks, to the office chair I’m sitting in, to the computer itself. I’m tired as hell 
. Glad that I’ll finally be able to work, though.
Btw, this thing doesn’t have a place to insert disks… I don’t really care but, damn, I gotta buy that separate?

I’m not computer savvy when it comes to specs, so I don’t actually how good this is lol. Couldn’t drop the extra money for this: NVIDIA GeForce GT 750M graphics processor with 1GB of GDDR5 memory.
Should have built a PC, saved 2,000 dollars all while rocking better specs.
Edit: Damn, they couldn’t even give you a fast HDD.
Search all those parts on Newegg individually, then compare the prices to what you paid for that all-in-one overpriced Apple. 99% chance you’ll feel like shit/end up returning it.
I’m cool with what I have. I’m not going to really use it for gaming, or anything like that. Just basic stuff alongside Photoshop and the rest of the Adobe Creative Suite. It should suffice.
You still could have saved a shitload of money. Could have literally paid 1/3rd, 1/4th what you did for that Mac for better performance if you put together a PC.
PC’s can install Mac Operating Systems too if you need it for some odd reason.

The opening page is full of wonderful sights. Imagine a game like Dark Souls that can last you an eternity with even more depth and combinations than any of the Souls games combined, all with amazing gameplay to top it all off.

I learned everything I know about PC’s by using them over the years+researching them here and there over time. When it comes to hardware, it’s actually not all that complicated & can also be a pretty interesting.
In a world where everything is practically a PC(smartphones, game consoles, Taxi Drivers & McDonald’s employee’s being replaced by PC’s/AI/kiosks or whatever) it can be some handy information to know.

I ended up finding a way to pay less taxes, but I still owed. That’s some bullshit. Next year I’ll be eating a penalty for health care, too. State was laughable. It would have cost me more to file my state taxes than I was getting back.
I’m going to have to find some way to keep my money.
Have any of y’all ever heard of Webm? I guess it is supposed to replace gifs. For now it just plays as a browser video in hd, 60 fps, and with sound, Looks pretty cool. It seems they don’t loop or embed yet but I’m pretty sure that will come in the future.

Why is tipping such a hot issue nowadays…
Instead of being based on service, like it was when I was a kid growing up, it’s become mandatory. Not only that, it’s permeated through other services where tips shouldn’t be expected. This is all, of course, because store owners use tips to offset paying their employees abhorrent wages. I do feel bad for workers of this shit low-wage jobs, but it isn’t my job to supplement their living. A waitress does a good job? She will get a tip. A terrible job? Terrible to no tip. I don’t subscribe to the mantra, “If anyone serves you, you must tip.” If I left a horrible tip, there was a reason for it and I’ll stand by it.
With people who stand behind a counter, I’m sorry but you get nothing. Why should I give you a tip for putting a croissant in a bag or making me a burrito? Isn’t that in your job description? You signed up for this. You aren’t doing anything special to serve me. You’re getting nothing out of me. I don’t do it out of spite. I do it because you just did your job and you accepted the compensation your employer offered you. Aren’t making enough? Go somewhere that will give you a better wage.
A friend and I had this argument last week and I said if they want a livable wage, have them raise prices for their goods. “But it’s the same as tipping, so you might as well do it.” Not quite. Sure, I’ll pay roughly the same as if I tipped but I’ll have the option to compare prices and quality of services and choose accordingly. So if I see your prices are high but the quality of your food is not that great, I’ll just go somewhere else. I know a few places are scared of this, but that isn’t my problem. I rarely go anywhere I have to tip nowadays because of this bullshit attitude and that’s going to continue until something changes.
I don’t know why workers just don’t unionize or vote in representatives who will take care of this on a local level. Even in New York so many of these workers are just too lazy to rock the boat. Either that or they came here on a boat illegally and are afraid to be thrown back in the ocean.
I also hate the “If you don’t want to tip don’t go there” argument. Because I want to tip based on service suddenly my money isn’t good enough? I will go there, and they will deal with it. My server wants to get that tip? I better get adequate service from the moment I sit down until I leave.
Oh, you automatically add gratuity to my check no matter how many people are in my party? Time to go to another restaurant that isn’t chiseling its employees and taking skin from customers to supplant their lost wages.

anecdotal: don’t buy a Mac external dvd drive (at least from Best Buy). a guy who’s iMac i’ve been fixing on and off for years went through 3 of those before he called me- all broken from the factory. get a Lite-On from Walmart for $40-50 if you need a drive.
anecdotal: any HDD that outputs more heat than a 5400rpm gets cooked.
