Some of the blazblue designs are really cool(Taokaka and Carl are the best imo)
but I could definitely see how dudes could see Ragna, Jin and Noel as really bland.
but yeah, it’s the shit they can do that interests me.
Stuff like health drain, magnetism and freezing and slick status are things you really don’t see outside of anime games like One Piece and Naruto. I’m really excited to see those things work out in an arcade fighter.
but yeah, I’m inclined to agree that alot of the designs are bland and boring compared to Guilty Gear’s.
Aa this is a new game I think that the characters have to be recognized, that’s why some of us think that we’ve already seen chars like those. I also would like to add that from GG to GGX some characters changed their look to be more “cool”, for example Millia. As a starting cast I see BB’s cast more unique than GG’s one

The designs are alright in my book, they have an anime flair without being LOLI DOOZIN; everyone is iconic and generally interesting looking (including even gayer!Ky and GRIMDARK!Sol). Tager is not a part of this, but his playstyle and animations just look beast. I’m a weeaboo faggot, so that gives me credentials in matters like this. :looney:

Litchi is looking really cool. Much different than what I expected. She can even jump off her staff when it’s stuck on the ground.

Yeah, I really hate playing fighting games where people don’t get rewarded for turtling, cheaping and meter-building the whole match, I mean, that’s what ASW and fighting games in general are all about, damnit!

Last I checked you can still turtle in Guilty Gear. You can’t stand still for too long, but you can typically spam projectiles. Not every character is designed to just rush in guilty Gear afterall. And Potemkin can get NP, but he doesn’t need meter to mess you up, and he builds up meter quick anyway.
