Her Ultra 2 had a taunt “that felt good didn’t it” , it did mental damage for sure. When somebody stops your 30 meter fall by using her foot in your spine…it gets nasty.
FSE is awesome but Kaisen had it’s charm for sure.
For Juri, I would want capcom to go the same way they did with characters like Ryu, Chun and Cammy, Where they don’t add any “new” moves but just slight variations on their old ones.
There’s a limit to how much variety they can give movement V-Reversals without making them broken (giving you time to recover and do a real combo) or useless (so much recovery that you will be punished for it).
FSE will actually have to be better than the SF4 version to be her V-Trigger. Why settle for a heavily scaled chain combo and better dashes when Chun and Bison get so much more?
Well her chain combos could easily net big dmg without linking much. I mean she could easily crack 300 dmg without meter. In 5 could be more depending.
Not sure about “heavily scaled chain combo”… st.MP -> cr.MK -> st.HK -> HK Senpusha does a good amount of damage (higher than 300 IIRC), but I can agree that chain combos and a better forward shouldn’t be the only thing she’d get from FSE in SFV, instead it should change other things like those changes in Omega she got during FSE.
Actually just about everything she got in Omega would be great, for instance her Fuhajin store alone being a cancel instead of a kick would allow more room for better mixups, blockstrings and combos while still being able to store things like usual, along with more options for moves even.
