Yeah that was my favourite in SFIV as well. Looks really good here, definitely better than some official costumes she got (Halloween).

Yeah, the costume looks plastic. Itā€™s a work in progress, so weā€™ll have to wait for the final version I wish Capcom would update these costumes and release them.

I am not particularly sold on any of her current costumes or mods.

I actually bought all her costumes so far and i will continue to buy them all. I canā€™t help it, itā€™s Juriā€¦but at the same time i kinda hate the idea of giving money to Capcom for all the bullshit they gave her in SFV.

Funny thing though,from all those costumes i still find myself using her default the most, i just love color 8, the orange one is my ā€œserious mode,go toā€ color. I just wish she had a black / white combo for her default.

Playing SFV for some reason and I donā€™t care about the games balancing at this point but this would make her less annoying -

stores carry over between rounds
fireball is 0 on block
mk.fuha release is an overhead
hk.fuha release damage increased by 10
all fuha stores have increased hitboxes, 1/2th a training square or something
V-Trigger is drained half as quickly for chaining normals

there you go, fixed all her shitty aspects

I would like different versions of her EX fireball as well.

Light EX fuha = 2 x fireball that travels like her old medium fuhajin, no knockdown.
Medium EX fuha = much faster then the current normal MK release ,becomes an overhead that bounced the opponent off the ground ,she can continue into a air juggle combo
Heavy EX fuha = her current EX fuhajin

Vskill charge can be canceled by double tapping up and perform a jump or double tapping down and remain on the same spot.I would also change her non charged vskill to just be a finishing strike she can combo into and switch side when doing it. The damage would be low on the final strike itself ,because the benefit would be in having the option to switch sides while comboing and gaining meter for vtrigger as well. I like vskills that get more usage,because as it sits right now her current vskill is there just to have something extra to charge,having that said, her charged vskill is indeed quite good.

Vtrigger either needs to not drain meter for blocked chained normals , allow her to combo from her overhead or add different move properties to her stores,not just remove the store requirement.

Light Ryodansatsu would also be cool if it could be made into a pressure tool she can use,not just a combo ender,not much use out of it anyway since she can combo into her medium just as good.

Just some ideas.

Lk.fuha plus on block would be a good send

Back on the costumes I would really like a casual outfit like Jeans, sneakers and a somewhat punky shirt/tanktop

Dont understand why you guys are hesitant on making light fuha +1 though, if i want to use it pointblank i dont want it to be 0. From the ranges it can be made + if it would be 0 oB that means that can also be interrupted or jumped out off and youā€™ll stand at a range you arent threatening anyway. You have 1 stored projectile which you can use once.

Same for her mk fuha being and overhead, such an all or nothing move it then becomes and definitely not what this game needs more off, again my personal view but i rather see it be similar to akuma his f.hp. More utility. But i ofcourse wouldnt be opposed to it being an overhead.

Im still on the opinion the huge pushback with st.mp ruining a LOT of momentum with her, it is one of my biggest anjoyances with Juri.

VT even if it wouldnt drain while using chains or not drain as much, i dont want it to be a simple way of improving her neutral conversions. Allow her to use regular specials and command normals from chains. Lastly her lk fuha should not knock down during VT, this is her biggest weakness combined with it not being + oB.

Making Juri her f.mk +1 on hit would allow combos on counterhit and probably combined with ability to chain into command normals allow her to use it in reset scenarios where you can do it meaty. Atleast you get pressure on hit, i would prefer this to be the overhead option personally instead of mk fuha straight up rewarding a full combo from an overhead.

Agreed ofcourse on the range of her stores needing to be increased.
Stores carrying over from end of round is great middleground without giving her straight up all her stores, adds a unique dynamic on how to end a round.

Anyway it seems there are a lot of different opinions on what people want to happen to Juri, i just want a character that makes her stores worth it, a character that has no consistency issues and a VT that rewards exploration and creativity without being needleesly limited.

At this point in time anything making her better would be accepted by me, you make some excelent points, I never think of s.MP pushback because Iā€™m a scrub that fails to get in for combos consistently, but that would mean that you could realistically s.MP->s.MP as frame trap and still link s.MK or go into s.HP on CH, right?

If lk release was +1, would near max range c.mk xx lk release > sweep work?

I cannot get that sf4 string out of my muscle memory, even after all this time.

Do you guys see her getting new normals or even specials in season 3 ?

I donā€™t see why, I think on a base level her normals cover everything, they should tweak and make them better (hitboxes, pushback, fame advantageā€¦ the usual things we complain about).
As for special the only one I can think of is Shikusen, but if they give her Divekick weā€™re completely and utterly fucked because her toolkit would have literally everything and she wouldnā€™t get the buffs needed.
Then again, Cammy.

Necalli has more tools then Cammy but he is flying under the radar just saying.Juri has an ok toolkit just undertuned.Better frame data is what she needs the most. Having that said I would welcome back her old counter and her forward medium punch and her old jumping neutral hk.

V-Regersal is still in this game.

Aside from that she only has 1 projectile, once she throws it out from close range in a pressure string itā€™s a done deal, she gets her moment to apply pressure, does it work out thats great, if not, well, better get back to getting a new projectile. Why should it even be a problem if something is strong and effectiveā€¦without it being braindead.

The only moment it truly does become ā€œinsaneā€ is during VT, she can loop it in the corner like in USFIV with EX projectiles, end strings into + on block special, go for a ā€œfreeā€ mixup and repeat the process(although v-skill negates that mostly) During VT the lk fuha should definitely be very costly to throw out, especially when performed from a chain.

Juri definitely wonā€™t be getting new tools, she doesnā€™t need that, her existing moveset is fine, they are like you said mostly undertuned.
