Ryu vs Juri is even at best
Maybe you can play some other players here and they can help you out? I won’t lie but if you’re using Chun,Ryu or Juri and maybe even Alex then the struggle will be more difficult compared to the other characters. It’s just the way it is now
@Mancubus Imo she is the worst character in the game,sure you can still win games even reach master rank but is a lot harder, you should pick a secondary top tier character and use it to release some stress due to the struggling with Juri. I picked Karin and it really helps me I’m not that salty on my loses, the downside is that you can end up leaving behing Juri 
She’s not the worst character in the game. She’s not exactly what I’d call a “good character”, but she’s not the worst.
Who’s worst than Juri atm?
I suppose that Chun and F.A.N.G. might be candidates, but then again they don’t really have the problem juri has of having to take time off during the game to prepare the offense.
Maybe Fang could be worst on paper, but he is very unorthodox and gimmicky so people have to really study the match up in order to beat a decent Fang and with Juri is very straight forward.
Honestly anytime you know it’s your turn if the opponent is on you. Punish into store when you’re starting so you can have a your offense ready for the next scramble situation
She legitimately has no validity over other characters. She isn’t unorthodox in her gameplan, her MU doesn’t throw you any curveballs and there are better archetypes who do the exact same thing as her to choose from. At least the rest of the bottom tier have some unique aspects.
Store mechanic isn’t adding enough to her depth to validate a pick. She’s worst in the game, can’t see it any other way.
Exactly, as for Chun I believe while suffering from the same low damage she doesn’t have to store, she has better corner carry and she has better pokes in neutral, the one thing Juri has over Chun is DP, and I belive we’ve gone through at lenght on how janky Juri’s DP is compared to others.
I belive she’s currently the worst character in the roster atm, and it makes me weep, she’s got one of the best character designs in the game, a very good background and good looking moves.
She had one of the best character designs… back in usf4. Just like everything else that made Juri Juri, Capcom fucked that up too.
The biker look would have made a great dlc costume, but her original in 4 was perfect. Luckily we have punk Juri now.
I actually only use story or battle costume, but in no way I feel like her normal costume is bad, is just not as good as the original SFIV… nor is she though. Foreshadow?
Why can’t any low combo into Ryo? Even lk off c.mk would be cool

I use everything except for the default costume, unless Im using it with some mode.
I’m probably in the minority there. Her 5 design is why i started liking her at all. The 4 design looks like a raver girl in Jnco jeans and spiked, Hot Topic bracelets who wants to go do ecstasy int he parking lot.
The SFV design looks like the bad girl, sub-villain in a James Bond movie, which fits her spy world character.
I never played SF4 so I have no attachment to her SF4 costume. I only started playing Juri until season 2 to learn the match up and saw how much more fun it was compared to boxer and ibuki from season 1. It felt like playing a mix of Kim, Jun and Iori from King of Fighers for some reason. I really wish I would of started earlier because I didn’t get her christmas and halloween costumes thinking I would never play her. I don’t understand the science behind removing them. It only negates them future profit IMO
I try to be positive regarding her future. Facts now are the following:
This season it is what it is,i try not to make that big of a fuss about it,it’s just a game for me and i don’t play it for a living so it does not affect me hardly as much. However i would like to see my favorite character to be better,so i am looking forward to season 3 and actually hoping the SSF5 rumor is true where it could bring an overhaul to some game mechanics as well and provide characters that need changes, the adjustments they deserve.
As for comparing her to Ryu, Chun, Fang or Alex i feel it’s like this :
While those 4 characters that people constantly compare Juri with have their fair share of issues,i feel their strenght make up for their weakness more then Juri’s strenght do.
Hah, I never expected you guys to be so candid about Juri. Then again, I’ve spent a lot of time around people who are almost Juri apologists and act like it’s just your fault if you can’t do anything meaningful with her, but the truth is somewhere in-between.
And honestly guys, for as much as I do still love Juri, playing her was hell. Netplay was a nightmare cause every other character just did what they want, and offline sessions were a struggle and other players just felt bad for me when they saw her stuff just lose and I’d have to explain ‘that’s just how she is’. For as much as I appreciate the support my Juri vids get; lord knows it’s the most successful my channel has ever been, but the effort and feeling of madness after playing her was too much for me, more so cause I wasn’t enjoying the game anymore…I often feel if I’d just let go of my pride and played Mika from the start, I’d probably still play and even enjoy SFV. Maybe, haha.
But all that pontificating aside, the buff list is still growing and I’m readying up to make the vid with the final list. As I said once before, I highly doubt it’ll make any difference in a real way, but it’ll be nice for all the Juri players to have their concerns in the right place. Cause I’ll be honest; the vast majority of requests have been for her current tool set to be stronger, there are very few people who want her to change drastically, or for her to gain something obscene. So when I make the final list available, you’ll see. As I’m sure some of you have noticed, I am NOT playing SFV anymore, and even if Juri was ‘fixed’ I dunno if that’d bring me back in a big way. I’d rather the game itself feel better first. But I’ll still support Juri when and where I can! Against my better judgement, haha.
SFV did good things for Juri but they implemented it wrong, her costume in SF4 was ok but it wasnt representing anything at least in SFV you have a clear Idea what is she wearing, but again the censorship, eyepatch and the barefoot thing ruined imo. Gameplay wise well we have discuss that already way too many times the only changes I really like is her DP.
Yeah I fucking hate that Eyepatch, hence why ny costume that is not base is just better.
As for the problems with her and @JusticeSoulTuna 's buff list one thing I am really considering is that she’s week because she has a lot of little problems that add up so is hard, like honestly I cannot pinpoint the main flaw with her but I can name dozens of small things that don’t work.
I like her current set way more than her USFIV kit, it looks better and it would make for a more intresting playstyle if it worked better, the only thing I am not too in love with is the CA, as in the way it looks, somehow black banana blade of death is not that appealing I would have preferred to have a cinematic combo CA (Ed sucks but hell he’s got a cool CA).
So to try and make my thought coherent:
Each little problem that gets fixed will make her get stronger, but if you fix them all I feel like she would become way too strong.
