When S3 rolls around if Capcom use any data regarding pro tour Alex/Juri/F.A.N.G and maybe one or two other characters should be getting some positive adjustments. Iāll be coming back to SFV to try the new characters but I doubt Iāll try to play this game properly again until S3.
If she gets nothing in S3 or the game in general doesnāt improve Iām out. But youād have to be crazy to not look at the Pro Tour stats and not buff her.
Her current default costume looks good,sure i miss her SF 4 default but letās be serious here guys, her costume is the least of her problems. If her costumes is the first thing i should worry about regarding her then i consider myself more then happy.
I just noticed that I havenāt touched SFV in almost three weeks and I feelā¦good. Not even like I hate the game or anything, but season 2 has been weird for me and my love for Juri can only take me so far. I think you guys should play another character alongside Juri. It might help calm you down lol.
Not gonna lie, the brief period when I took my Mika online was actually pretty fun! Still had to deal with the usual SFV bs, but I could give it back just as much, and man it was therapeutic. I was making stupid jokes and feeling smug everytime I landed EX Rainbow Typhoon. And honestly, thatās what I want too; for Juri to be able to play SFV. Cause you often work SO hard for so little with her, and you just donāt have anything meaningful or threatening to put your opponents in check. But instead of being all āwoe is meā about it, Iāve just stepped away from the game. The CFN update was supposed to bring me back, but it just happened too late. GG Xrd Rev 2 came out, and now Tekken 7. And playing these games reminded me how fun and exhilarating fighting games can be (and have been). You kinda lose that in SFV with its bland design and frustrating experience; you end up being too focused on winning, and this is made even worse by playing Juri where (as Iāve said in the past) you have to climb a mountain, when other characters need only climb a hill. And as much as I like Juriās current design, I am actually fed up with her place in the meta and I want her to just be able to play SFV and not have to play cliffhanger all the time, haha.
I either help my girlfriend with Persona 5 or I play Tekken 7 and Overwatch. Iāll play SFV again for sure (gotta stay in shape for monthlies and any majors I want to attend), but this break has felt great. The last time I played, I used Karin more than Juri and that felt great, too!
My plan was to finally pull myself out of Platinum with Juri and enjoy ranked once we got the new CFN, but the update didnāt change much. Ranked still sucks. I thought the CFN update would bring me back as well lol.
Completely forgot about that list video. I hope we can see it whenever they do the 30th anniversary celebration. Hope they donāt surprise us with more changes for most of the cast and nothing substantial for Juri.
I guess iāll step away from talking about tiers and stuff for this post.

Btw its pics like these that kinda make me think that her ultra animation is not as bad as people say. She looks damn cool in that pose but the angle we see her is just wrong. They should add a more cinematic view on her full backflip animation when she shoots the ultra fireball.
People say her ultra animation is bad? I never thought it was, I just think is not the ultra Iād like to see on a char like her, Iād love her to go insane with a whirlwind of kicks
