IMO…but don’t know too much of how u play… try an pick characters like Medium size big characters w/projectile priority to maybe one rush down character…, I pretty much got my team locked, less afraid of Sent. but still have to watch out of course…man i still think X factor is broke if your opponent hits u one time & finishes combos ur done…I’m actually having alot of fun playing the game now, I can’t wait to learn 100% combos :nunchuck: on the fly despite what I said, I was speaking too soon

For a rushdown style, I recommend X-23. Fastest jabs in the game bar none, and cold star assist will help her out with mixups with her dash through. And you can even feint her command throw sometimes to throw people off. Only real bad thing is her low life, but her mixup potential is really strong.
Pretty much anyone with a good crossup teleport though would go well with Ammy, although you will have to think about her low life.
I don’t think i can run x23 and amaterasu on the same team. ammy already has the lowest health in the game at 800k (next to phoenix) and x23 only has 825k. I’m thinking of running amaterasu/doom/tron. Tron does pretty well and she has beefy life. Just need to practice more of all my characters because I suck with all of them. Amaterasu so difficult to use -_-;; and she dies so quick

Doesn’t seem that bad of a team, but I don’t like Ammy on point much, since she helps rushdown characters so much (I usually pair her up with Zero/X-23/Wesker on my teams) but ah well. We should play sometime!

MANNN HOLD UP! The wed fight night was off the chain. 1 of the best nights that will go down in history. 45+ people and a record setting 25+ for dennys. Had some special guests drop by but they want to remain ghosts. lol. Damn yall we like the jeffersons now “We moving on up” in attendence. We had a total of 22 Registered players for mvc3 with 5 setups. Top 3 was 1st place/Stone/2nd place/Joey H/3rd place/Suavion. My minimum goal was 20 players and it was met so I will be throwing an idea out there really soon. Will give more details on it this upcoming week. Now that everybody knows were they stand, time to hit the lab and cook up something sick. Im starting to really like this game alot so I will be getting creative with the ideas I had for mvc2, will use for mvc3. I will post video footage and pictures of the tournament shortly. I like that setup. I use Tron/spencer/doom as my main team right now. Tron makes for a great battery and carries to the corner really well with jump c and fwd c coupled with doom plasma beam assist. I don’t reccomend dhcing out of her unless you know it will kill. Save your meter to air tag out, and your user should have 5 stocks ready to go. Were you going to put doom last?

That was the most people we ever had at dennys. Normally we get like 10-15 but wed was a special night =]. We need a runback on that night again cause it was great!

PS Raph is pretty beast. I like him and Rampage levelling up, as well as FaultyDefense atm. Jan was holding his own against me also, but I don’t know if his interest will hold long enough for this game. 
edit: Holy shit @the guy who got 140 wins in a row. Guy from Japan named yakiniku ogawa, looks like his team is Sentinel, Haggar, Taskmaster. Don’t know the order, since he didn’t make preset teams, but it seems solid.

…but I cannot use it for crap on SSF4. :shake: I remember some of the guys told me that when they were trying it out on SSF4 at Smileys. So I have to change out the stock stick & buttons. I probally change out the stick first then the buttons.
Back on Mvc3, Magneto & Wesker are legit badasses in this game, and Thor’s not that far behind them but man it is tough using him in bad connection online games and against zonning & rush down characters. Input lag is also hurting my Wesker too.
Other than that, they are a devasting group
Man. I’m sorry to hear that. I was in the same boat a few months ago. I found something different though. Its not glamorous or anything like that but its a lot less stressful from where I was and I like it. Who knows… maybe you will find something better in the end. Good luck with the job hunt. Also try to apply for unemployment…even if you were fired. I’ve heard some crazy stories of people getting it when it was totally their fault they got fired. The worst they can say is no.
