It’s different. I read this somewhere a while back “its not MvC 2.5, its MvC 3” and thats the truth. I really wish now i spent a little more time with TvC because imo it plays more similar to that instead of MvC2. I like it. Its fun. I didn’t love MvC2 when it first came out, it took years. I think with this game I’ll learn to love this the same way. For the most part im still random’ing about 90% of all the games I play just to get a feel for everyone and their assist. I like Chris, MODOK, Trish, Wesker. I’m trying to main Tron for old times sake but her drill went from a QCF-K to a B,D,DF-Atk. WTF happened there?!?! I mean if they could have made it QCB-Atk. she has no other commands with that. blah thats just me being nitpicky. I’m sorry to say I did spend some time in training mode. I hate training mode its like training wheels but I NEEDED it as i could only land a max of 5 hit combo. This game is going to get some getting used to and I think playing MvC2 for 10 years has put me at a disadvantage in learning the launch/flying screen/otg combo’ing.
Wish I could rides bac and forth are scarce.

Man, I had a flippin ball last night at Smiley’s, even managed to sneak a couple of SSFIV matches in, but I was on that MvC3! I managed to win a couple of causals but got swept in the tourney! Still I’m loving that Wesker, Thor, and Magneto team.
And Rampage man, thank you again for putting the Dudley/Wesker artwork on my SE stick. I know it was a challenge and did you a wonderful job man. :woot:

i like the game and i don’t like the game. i’m stuck in the middle on how i feel about it. maybe i’m just greedy,wishing that there should be more characters in the game.
is it me, or do every character has the same basic combo?
like L->M->H->s-> air M-> air M-> H-> S
still having problems picking the last person on my team.

based on the strategy guide that is true. Some characters have longer “magic” series. like I’ve read the air chain can go L > L > M > M > H > S or L L M M H H S it really depends on the character.

It was tight last night overall. Denny’s was nice too. We had it packed out.
Oh I didn’t realize we were only supposed to make comments on part of a quote. I thought you were commenting on his whole quote about the ground combo into launcher XX air combo.
In MvC2 standard air combos were the same yes, but for half the cast it was better to combo into an air super. Combos into launchers were different, hell Sentinel could not do any standard combo into his launcher. Some characters could chain multi hit strings on a normal jump in, some couldn’t, some characters combos involved mini launchers to allow some of their normals to become launchers.
