Just cause J. Wong says something every1 shouldnt believe it. This is a completely new game that has been out less than a week. The fact that most of the cast has 100 percent combos should kill off most ppl quickly. For all the ppl who have never played a fighting game that has 100 percent combos this is what it looks like either learn your combos and be able to perform them in matches or learn how to block and run away. No more mashing and praying for the best at its very core this is how all versus games have been ala mvc2 with 300 percent combos to xvssf with its 200 percent combos. In the future the game is going to revolve around doing those 100 percents with no xfactor combos to save it for the best char to take advantage of it.

P.S. By the way suave you can add best wesker in the h to my resume even though he may not make the final cut of the team.

I still dont understand whats so bad about sent. Almost ever character in the game ive played beats him at close range, characters like Trish beat him at all ranges, and ALL characters are strong with lvl 3 xfactor. I have waaaaay more trouble against ghouls wolverine, but his sent is no joke either. I just havent seen anyone in the last 3 days play sent on half his lvl which is understandable cause the game hasnt been out that long, but it kinda goes to show that i dont think yall know what ur talkin about.

If your whole team gets beat by xfactor sent then your just playing it wrong and any other character in the game would have done the same thing. There is no shame in blocking, id put ryu, morrigan, chun, trish, she hulk, akuma, Felicia, spiderman, and hulk against him any day of the week.

BTW im gonna be doing alota recording tomorrow so if people could supply some commentary and thoughts on the game i would appreciate it.

Will, you’re thinking into this way too much. Both SF4 and MVC3 have their respectable levels of skill required to play the game. The argument you make about MVC2 players hating MVC3 is no different than ST and 3s players hating on SF4. But guess what, they still play it because that’s where the money is at. And the same will happen for MVC3. When you actually sit down and play the game with COMPETENT PLAYERS THAT UNDERSTAND THE GAME, you’ll see where the skill is involved. I agree that Sentinel is overpowered, but that’s no different than Sagat from vanilla SF4. Things will get ironed out in time, and the strategies will develop. If Sentinel is too broken, he will be banned. Because in my opinion, the game is very, very good if you have good defense and know how to set up your rush down.

The technicalities of X-Factor are hard to break down on paper, and can be considered “cheap” by some, but that’s where your defensive skills come into play. You also need to realize that MvC3 is a 3v3 game, and 100% combos would be devastating if you didn’t have 2 characters to back up. It actually takes quite a bit of commitment to perform a 100% in a real match, and it almost always involves X-Factor. You have to be smart about using it.

Not going to dwell on the subject much, and I’m not going to try to argue, but realize that both SF4 and MVC3 have their own silly “gimmicks” and “random factor” which could be considered bullshit. But that won’t stop people from playing the game and getting good at it. Most people will play both SF4 and MVC3. The only reason MVC3 is played more right now is because the game is NEW and people DO want to play something new. You shouldn’t shit on them for it. Just keep working on your SF4 game and try to get better during the downtime.

thanks for the feedback really, I understand Adeel where your coming from completely – but I take the opinion from top MvsC2 not a guy like u who never played MvsC2 very seriously like JWong, Sanford, or Marn and other players from the MvsC2 era. I’m actually kind of Neutral about the game I just felt like stirring the pot in the forums.

I’m not even talking about Sentinel like that was the issue i was presenting; I’m just saying the mechanics/features of the game are broken in concept & implementation its just funny that’s all.

I was actually stating at the end of my opinion that we will all be very good of course very soon if we play more but JWong said its easy to get good at the game that’s a fact that can’t be denied

i kind of want to get good at this game now and absolutely body Issac to a FT10 or to 15 he gloated on his omnipotence beating ppl 20 30 40 to zero win streaks what a prideful douche bag…Yeah Issac I am getting the game Tuesday and I will put time in the game (I hope) and wipe your face on the floor in MvsC3

Most players complained about the transition from MvC1 to MvC2 especially me. But we kept playing it. Fuck ssf4 its time for somethin new. Now what?

Some vids posted today. Yipes likes MvC 3 but thinks damage should be low for tourney standard. Sanford is feeling it a lot more. New games tend to disturb veteran players when they first get into it, no matter the genre.

doing 100% combo on a character using x factor is still taking away less compartive health from a team than any characters ultra in SSF4
