Either run the straight connection or invest in your own router (you might need to ask for a separate modem), any all-in-one is gonna suck balls. I’d say go linksys prior to Cisco buying them. You really just want a router with uPnP or where you can open specific ports, or just set a DMZ. That’s pretty much all routers, but the all-in-ones from Comcast/AT&T won’t get the job done.

caps are at 250GB/month…that’s plenty torrent wiggle room for a single person…I almost hit it last month though >_< . It also really depends on WHERE you are with comcast. If you’re really close to a hub or a central line, you’ll have a much better connection experience than not. So if you’re close to 59S (on the south end of the BW) a line runs almost parallel to there, and you get crazy reliable speeds. Also a hub is in/around Greenspoint…an upside to living there…maybe.
I get crazy speeds on my phone…i probably could play online via wi-fi tether…5GB cap on that then they throttle you down to dial-up speeds though.
MvC3 is like putting gravy on my biscuit, shit is just right.
And even if that biscuit has gone bad, damn straight I’m gonna keep on eating it.
At gamestop, they said no one has MvC3 due to ups being backed up by the weather.
The two near me both have them and are doing tournaments.

I’ve read that they made huge changes with Jill, I loved Jill in MvC2. We shall see. If I don’t like the way she feels, I won’t play her. Its that simple. They way it looks though now, (almost) every character is pretty well balanced but the game hasn’t even been officially released so we’ll have to see what happens with that. I don’t plan to play this game too competitively if i win cool, if not whatever.
I just got a automated call from gamestop saying to call the store i reserved it at because the may not have it due to weather (Its a nice 65 outside I dunno what the fuss is). So i call to the galleria store…theres only one number listed but they have 2 stores…and they said they will have it… the UPSTAIRS ONE will have the midnight release. the downstairs one isnt doing it. WTF!!! (I have it reserved at the downstairs one) update: Downstairs gamestop doesnt have theirs
