I agree with this statement and disagree. I agree because the mvc2 players have already formed minds to take this game as serious as mvc2 which means drama/hate and gunplay.
I disagree because the new gen of players are more friendly so if a team gets molested they just take a loss and move around like they do in ssf4. Ive only seen Johnny D get super salty in ssf4 as if he was playing marvel. I mean take it to the next level of morton salt. In marvel if somebody gets bodied, they taking that loss personal meaning “We not friends no more or You not riding with me anymore, find you another ride”. My opinion, I think mvc3 will not be as serious as mvc2 because of the way there are designing these games nowadays. Not saying there not fun but its not super serious as it was back in the days. Ex: Hadoken Vs Jacob. Hadoken lost the ssf4 mm but could give a shit cause he really doesnt take the game serious. He lost his money but not his pride cause he only plays this game only for money matches. Had this be ST or HD Remix, his pride and money would have been taken instead and then it would have been a huge problem. Im looking forward to seeing how this game will impact the scene and re-structure the mentality of players meaning people taking this game serious instead of being casuals that dont give a care what happens if they win or lose =/
New mvc3 avatar is on the way =]. Team G.I.S. is world famous now with the victory added to my resume over Joey Hernandez aka Mr. I Dont know how to play team gis right, I think its time to hang this avatar up. It served its purposes. Now im thinking about puting silver surfer in the avatar simply because they put galactus in the game and I really doubt they would put him in the game and not put silver surfer. It only makes sense if they add him in the game so I can bring back vanilla ice ice babyeee.

Best part is Akuma was already indirectly confirmed through a leak on a random website, as well as Galactus and Taskmaster. That leak list looks 100% accurate. 
I really want to see Taskmaster in action.
