Wed Fight Night Wrap Up: Pretty good night i must say. Good shit to last blade for bringing arcana heart 3 setup. I know next week you will bring your friends through so it should be a good look. Couldnt believe everybody started playing poker. Flash almost made it to win a free 75$ but got knocked out :(. I think smileys is to good for offering free entry to win 75$ in poker. To tops things off i seen boys break out the D-NOS aka Dominoes. I was like really, thats what im talking about. I might mess around and start playing dominoes also cause i heard them boys slamming and shouting 5, 10 and 15. Had me thinking about high school how I use to make my lunch money to get my 3$ chili cheese fries. The poker pot should be bigger next week so we will see what happens. We in there next week!
Dennys Afterhours: About 8 rolled through and I must say once again, the extra crack aka powdered sugar on that french toast had my head spinning this morning. From now im retired from the extra crack cause it be making me feel woozy. Other than that the food was on point and will be getting on something new next week. DDDDDennys babyeee babyeee.
I dont think dennys is shitty cause they french toast goes hard in the paint. Imma give you the Top 4 reasons why I LOVE ME SOME DENNYS!
Reason #1: It works with everyones budget and especially mine. Examples: Motrappers didnt have much money yesterday so he was on a 4$ budget so he got 2$ flatbread and 2$ pancakes with the extra crack. If i would have said, Mo we going to ihop or somewere else today he would have said, ABK we not in there, im on a 4$ budget so imma take it to the house. See what i mean. Its been plenty of times when AJ tucker said I only got 2$ for that flatbread. If we go anywere else, people wont go cause some of these places dont be reasonable with there prices.
Reason #2: Most gamers are cheap including myself and Its down the street from smileys meaning 5 mins in driving which = 2 good 2 pass up!
Reason #3: Its 24 hours so after we eat we sit in the parking lot and have gametalk aka the afterhours to the afterhours.
Reason #4: The 2$, 4$, 6$, 8$, menus is genius/mastermind idea and deserves an award. Dennys got them a customer(s) for life. GGGG-UNITTT!
Last I heard Monster’s will be open but Dre and everyone else will be at Comicpalooza for casuals/tourney registration/FNM.

Casuals are going to be there as soon as the con is open, and is all day Friday. You have to sign up on Friday and the brackets will be done for the tourney on Saturday, and top 16 will be on Sunday.
I’m gonna try to get there around 12:00-1:00.
I will try my best to make it on friday and saturday I been a little busy but I should be in there.

I’m having second thoughts about entering this Compicpalooza tournament. Mainly because I can’t settle on a team I feel comfortable with. On each of these “ideal” teams that I make up in my head, I’m downright terrible with one of the characters in each team.
I’m also just terrible in general. Sixty bucks is a steep price to pay to get thrown in a blender.
With that said, I’d still like to check out some of the tournament action. Is there any chance that the tourney will be streamed?

There are casuals too, tourney experience is invaluable though. So from that perspective, 60 bux is pittance to see how you perform under pressure, even if you’re bad with 1/3 of your team. There will be cheaper tourney’s in Houston/Texas in the near future though so if money really is an issue, waiting is totally OK.
Yeah, I plan on playing in some of the cheaper tourneys in the future. I’ve never really played this game live, but it’s something I’d like to get into. I’d just like to get into it once I have a team that I feel good about.
I’ll probably just end up tier-whoring it to the max.
Money, as always, is a bit tight. Going to have to drop a lot of duckets for six measly hours of undergrad Spanish this summer, and I think I’ll be using my measly “fun-money” funds for the Free Press Summerfest.

Also, you want to show up to these things for experience in casuals, as well as meeting new people who can become future training partners, and they can critique on your play. Or just meet nice people you would want to hang out with in general later on.
