Sega has came out and said that whoever put that stuff up at the Toy Fair is wrong. So for now the next gen game has been deconfirmed.
I read an issue of the Megaman Sonic crossover and liked it, I havenât really spent any time on the archie comics, but I might as well, Iâm fucking snowed in today. Comixology, here I come!
The crossover event is a fine place to start since it acts as the second soft reboot for the series. You wonât really have to know whatâs happened in the past to be caught up with everything.
Did Sonic and Tails ever settle which of the two of them would win a fight? In the comic I mean. I know they started once but it was interrupted.

No it didnât get settled and it was funny cause of course Sonic being who he is wasnât expecting Tails to go in on him like that. The thing they were fighting over got kinda resolved before the first soft reboot and the way how the comic is going at the moment they donât have anything to butt heads over right now. The reboots have been leaving a few storylines that were going on unresolved unfortunately.
The current brief rundown status of things in the comic is the Earth on the brink of falling and has fissures running all around it which it seems to be mostly because of Eggmanâs screw up at the end of the Megaman crossover. Characters have pretty much vanished in the new reality and the characters that are even aware of any of the story in the past are the main freedom fighters that have come into contact with Nicole and Eggman. Sonic is in the process of trying to âwake upâ a select few of the main freedom fighters and it just so happens Sally is nowhere near where they are currently. Eggman is trying to kill and or capture her (preferably kill at the moment) before she reaches the others at the moment by unleashing Metal Sonic. While this stuff is going on, Team Dark and G.U.N. are dealing with another incoming invasion of the Black Arms aliens in Outer Space on a huge ass chunk of rock thatâs on itâs way to Earth. G.U.N. has been acting real suspect so Iâm expecting either Shadow to pull a face heel turn or G.U.N. to pull a betrayal.
Sonichuman and Shadow Ace are insightful folks and have been marked accordingly. 
On a side note Gaf brought to my attention that Sonic 3 is 20 years old now.

Happy 20th Sonic 3 (and Knuckles)
Supposedly something may get announced tomorrow involving the Sonic series.
If the picture is anything to go by then 2014 is supposed to be a big year for the franchise. Iâd like to get my hopes up that 3rd Wii U game gets announced but Iâm just going to keep my expectations at just the introduction to the Sonic Boom cartoon and followed by Knux busting in halfway into the introduction and going âYO YO YO YO B BOY THAT SHIT IS 4 REAL MOTHA FUCKA! FUCK! SHIT! FUCKIN ASS AND BLAT BLAT!â
The cartoon could either be a genuinely funny show that Iâd like, or given the CG, a horrifying revisit to the Donkey Kong cartoon.
