The comic as it is now is dead. From the sounds of it though it seems their looking into something else for the comics. Guessing their looking for someone else pick up the helm.
The Sonic Mania OST vinyl release goes on preorder this Saturday. The newly revealed limited edition splatter color will only be on preorder from Saturday through Monday.

The splatter color is pretty neat. I have the recently released vinyl to the mighty morphin power rangers OST with the exact same color.

only Sonic Forces can save the series, but then again, heard that the other sonics are required to advance the story, which is stupid. Xenoverse doesnāt require playing as other characters to advance the story, you play as your created avatar, itās more immersive that way.
the other playables should be optional, not forced (and the avatar should not be forced on Sonic purists either)
I mean come on sega itās not rocket science, all they had to do was give Sonic Forces
a Sonic Adventure 1 HUB (except Mobius themed and only anthropomorph residents, not humans)
avatar creation like Sonic Forces is featuring, with more options would be nice
option to play as the other characters
the story being open so anyone can be the protagonist.
have the levels accessed from the expanding world HUB, and the stages designed more like SA1ās instead of a mish mash of retro and who knows what.
have loot kind of like PSO but not essential to progress, mostly cosmetics and expanded customization.
add 4 players co-op for the stages, which can be designed for speed runners, as well as exploratory players.
grrr well they probably wonāt listen, just like PSO2 is still not localized, and PSO1+2 is still not remastered. those idiots! they could easily make the series so much more to more people!

In reality I have been on the fence about the game. Iām actually kind of indifferent to the OC character. If I can play the game without having to play that section then Iād feel more at ease but I have this feeling that because of the nature of the characters that itās not going to work right. Classic and Modern sections of the game Iām not too concerned aboutā¦just follow what they did in Generations and do it better and weāre good. Iām also slightly concerned that weāve only seen 2 stages of the game but Iām assuming theyāre trying to give Mania the space it needs so both games can breath.
In any case Iām 110% on board with Mania. This wait is killing meā¦just one more monthā¦
Yeah I think I heard you HAVE to play the OC character which I agree sucks, but maybe theyāll actually make it fun
