I just started playing SA2: Battle on the Dolphin emulator (Hi-res, to boot).

But on the demo, how the fuck do you switch sonics? I picked classic but I wanna switch to Modern. I even restarted but the option isnt showing anymore. WTF?
It definitely is the GOAT sonic… and you can’t on the demo Im pretty sure, the guy that did it hacked them demo in order to do it.
I swear when I first booted it up it said pick your sonic.

Man they have to redo Mystic Cave Zone for this game, or Ice Cap Zone. I love those levels and the bgm for them is too sick.
I think an Aquatic Ruins remix would be good.
SA2 has those shitty “Other characters” levels. Keeps it being anywhere close to GOAT.
what really?? I actually enjoyed Knuckles levels ALOT especially because of the music being so sick, and Rouge’s levels were cool… sure Tails and Eggman’s levels were whatever but some were okay.
Of fuck no Knuckles and Rouges levels where the worst ones! The music was a god damn travesty.
Big Perm, you have enough CPU/GPU power to run a Dolphin Emulator and high res at that?
iirc, you would need a rig with a clockspeed of at least 3.6 ghz to get that shit to run smoothly… I could be wrong…

Meteor Herd was the most bad ass stage ever haha awesome music awesome atmosphere and it was always cool going all the way to the top then DRILL CLAW all the way down lol
Yeah the Treasure Hunting stages in SA2 were awesome. It’s just that it could have been more refined and could have used a few speedy parts. Like say make the level three times as big but break it up into sections with speedy tracks connecting them.
And the music was KILLER. I loved Knuckles rap music and Rouge’s smooth jazz. In fact I really liked the diversity of music and level design in SA2.
But Eggman and Tails levels sucked. Especially because Tails busts his ass for years to be capable on the ground. I find it weird for him to just hang up years of running fast and flying on his own to ride in a mech.
