I’ve been dying to hit up a hookah bar, but most of my friends are not of the smoking persuasion, so it’s hard to convince a non smoker to go.

I smoke Camels, roughly around a pack every two or three days. I cannot stand menthols, those things are terrible. I wouldn’t smoke it if it was the last cig in the world.

Yeah, just tell them it’s no tar, and you can’t get hooked to it, it’s just not possible. Also tell them it doesn’t burn going in, and that it’s relaxing.

I get all my stuff from http://www.hookah-shisha.com/ with any new hookah they throw in filters (kinda useless) mouthpieces, 2 or 3 packs of your choice of shisha, the best quicklights made, a heat cover, a screen (it sucks though, just make sure you got some tin foil around) and some tongs for free.
Right now I only have a small “pear” hookah but it hits fine, and I’ve heard by some the size does not really matter other than getting a “cooler” hit for longer. I know about chamber sizes blah blah blah I’m getting as Mya Acrylic soon.
But if you are just interested in it, a small mini hookah is fine and a cheap investment (and you get everything you need!).
for a starter hookah the Mya QT is really good
But you can’t go wrong with any of the mini hookah’s they carry, just stay away from the “pumpkin” ones.
This is cheap and should hit fairly well if you wanted to dive in to hookah and see if you liked it.
mine is like that, but it’s “pear” shaped. I’d also recommend buy their super cheap plastic washable hose, as the leather ones that come with it don’t last to long (like 6 months or so).

I’ve been smoking cigarettes for nearly 9 years and I turn 22 on the 19th. I used to smoke Du Maurier back then but now it’s nearly $10 a pack so I stick with MacDonald which has a very similar taste. Gotta have when I wake up, after a meal and after a casual/tourney. I really don’t mind cigars every now and then. Captain Black and Cafe La Creme is what I like. As for weed, nearly 8 years and on a weekly basis.

I smoke Marlboro Menthol Lights. I smoke about 1 1/2 to 2 packs a day. Ive been smoking for 16 years. So yeah, I cant run very far without running out of breath and it may kill me. But I dont like running anyway and I could get hit by a car and die while crossing the street. I smoke a little pot as well.
Lucky devil. Those sound delicious. Couldn’t pick a favorite, but I love anything in the Java line and pretty much anything CAO puts out. Actually, if I had the 80 bucks to spend, I’d buy a box of the Acid C-notes. Punchy cigarillo with some crazy herbal infusions. Delicious. Cigars for life.

heres some advice to all my smokers out there, Dont buy the new L&M packs from marlboro. Good god these are sick as hell. also A pack a day isnt hardcore, the reason why people get up to a pack a day is because of the nicotine. the reason its 20 per pack is because thats how many you can smoke in a day permiting 8 hours of sleep, IIRC the effects of nicotine last for about 40 to 50 minutes so the body wants another cig, thus the pack a day. I have been smoking for about 7 years now and im 22.
I smoke the Djarum Blacks once in a while as sort of a treat cigarette because that clove oil can fuck your lungs up something fierce. I usually don’t finish a pack before I hear about something new so I have sort of a cigarette smorgasboard in my car :looney:

Actually the reason Marijuana was originally illegal was because of /gasp racism lol.
It mainly originated from the Texas and Louisiana regions where minorities(blacks and Latinos) were described to go into violent fits of rage when smoking cannibus and committing atrocious crimes against the whites.
This led the southerners to push Washington to make it illegal, so at first they didn’t make it outright illegal they just made it impossible to get. They started with the Stamp process. You had to have a government stamp in order to have marijuna in your possession, the main problem being that you couldn’t get a stamp with out already having marijuana(see the catch 22 here…).
There is a lot more to the story but I can’t remember exact facts so you get the shortened version of everything that I can accurately remember. I’ll try and track down the History channel special on Weed that I watched a year or so ago to link to here.
