I smoke everything besides weeds and cigarettes.
Partagas Black Label, Arturo Fuente Short Story, CAO Brazilia, and H. Upmann Vintage Cameroon are my anytime/anywhere smokes whenever I want to smoke that isn’t a special occasion. CAO Brazilias are my current favorite casual smoke right now; it’s a low to medium powered cigar that has a wonderful aroma of coffee/chocolate that’s cheap and made well.
Fuente Fuente Opus X, Padron 1964 Anniversary and Cohiba Siglo V are reserved for the special occasions that have been fermenting for quite some time. I have about three or four of each of these cigars and only smoke them (on average) once a month if that.
For the very special occasions like a birth of a child, a marriage, etc. I have a box of Royal Jamaica cigars that I inherited from a good friend of mine that have been aging for the last 25 years. It’s a box of 20 54 gauge by 6 inch cigar (in layman’s terms, probably enough tobacco rolled to make a pack and half of Marlboro 100s) that I’ve only tried twice and it was nothing short of heaven. This box will probably last me at least 10 years too!

Been smokin’ cigarettes for the last 15 years (smoke 2 packs a day), weed for the last 13 years. Enjoy both of those a lot and weed never stopped me from getting my education or a good job.
Try a pack. They’re not too bad at all. Been buying a carton a month of these things but I’m trying to regulate myself on how many cigs I smoke in order to quit sometime soon.

I’ve been a cigarette smoker since I was 15. I am 21 now.
I started with Newports, and at 16 I switched to the love of my life, Djarums. I tend to smoke Blacks, but I smoke Vanillas or Cherry ones sometimes too. Right now since money is very tight, and has been for quite some time, I smoke Newports again since they are cheap.
I smoke a pack (20 cigs) a day, and at my worst I smoked 2 packs a day, and at my most depressed I had a constant cloud of Clove Cigarette Smoke around my head.
How much do Newports go for where your at? :wonder:
A pack of Reds and Newports over here go for $4.50 [depending]. If I’m pressed for cash, I go with GPC Reds [$3.50, once again depending]. The first one always gets me lightheaded. :wasted: LoL, but its all good.
I’ve tried smoking Blacks, but I didn’t care for them too much. A cool thing about them was the ‘crackling’ sounds it made while it was lit [unless I bought a botched pack]. :wonder:

The best part of Djarums are the way the paper is sweetened so your lips have a sweet aftertaste to them.

Here I pay like 2,2 ? for my smokes. That’s like 3$, and we all bitch how expensive smoking has become. 4,50$ a pack x 2 = 9$ a day to quench my addiction. That’s almost 300$ a month… Screw that. If I had to move to the USA, I’d quit smoking. Hmmmm, maybe that’s what I should do…

As for having a sweet aftertaste [ala Djarums], I like smokin’ Primetimes. They come in different flavors, though I think its mostly in the filter. I used to smoke those alot, but haven’t had one in a good while.
So, what’s the average amont of cigarrettes smoked in a day or week? Is it a “pack a day” like I hear from some, or is that the “hardcore” level of smoking? I’m guessing SmrK just revealed the hardcore level as 2 packs or more per day? I have to admit to being fascinated by this simply because I don’t see the point, especially considering the price of this habit. If 3.50 is on the “cheap” end of things…a “pack-a-day” smoker is spending at least 24.50 per week. …times 4 for an approximate $98.00 per month?! That’s just a couple of bucks short of what I pay Comcast a month for internet+extended basic cable. Actually, it’s a bit more accurate to use 31days in a month x 3.50 = 108.50 per month!?

Here’s some fun math for you:
At the height of my smoking habit, I smoked 2 packs of Djarum Blacks a day. I had to go into Manhattan to get them, as nowhere local carries them. I’d pick them up once a week so I wouldn’t have to spend so much train fare.
So, you factor in $8 a pack. 7 days a week, 14 packs of cigarettes. And that’s just for school.
If I had a rave or a party to go to, I’d need 4 packs for the day instead of 2, as I smoke a lot more when I am drinking.
… It’s a very pricy habit, but it’s never been something I considered to be bank breaking.
If I can’t spend that much money then I think I would have to have a serious re-evaluation of my spending habits.
