Yea. Looks like another chance for a region free Dodonpachi game goes down the drain.
Supposedly the reason the DDP DFK games werenāt released region-free is because they have localization projects in the works for them. Weāll see.

Ahhh yeah. Arrange mode is excellent, the remixed Ketsui OST is absolutely amazing.

Finally played Fast Striker. I gotta say, after spending time with the game in all the modes I think it is this and Castle Shikigami are the most āpureā shooters on the DC. Pure in the sense that its just you, your shot, no crazy gimmicks like buzzing or reflection, and a whole lot of bullets to dodge. I actually preferred the Omake mode, the ship moves quicker and reminds me of the red ship from Donpachi. Overall, it is shaping up to be my favorite shooter on the DC.
Yeah, Fast Striker is great. I really need to sit down with it a little more, Iāve only put like 2 hours into it since I got it 
The only thing I donāt like are the repetitive backgrounds, but they are nice and smoothly animated ;D
yes they are, it was actually a little jarring at first. the background movement is so quick it sometimes obscures my view of the bullets. Lots of deaths at the beginning because my eyes were going crazy trying to sort everything out, if that makes sense.
Welp, my Jasper E74ād on me again after having it repaired in November last year. Lucky me I just got my tax return and I bought a slim JP 360 and DDP DKF BL. So once it actually ships, this shmup scrub will be getting shot again in the near futureā¦
for those of you who have yet to play everyday shooter are missing out. It is one of my favorites up there with ikaruga.

I keep starting to play but then I stop.
I did finally buy and start playing this one. It is perhaps the best little indie Iāve ever played. One thing that is messing with me. The music. I just aināt getting it people. I guess Iām just not used to this type as a shooter soundtrack. I donāt even know what genre it is. It isnāt hurting me gamewise, but it is making its presence felt. Iām just glad it is every bit as challenging as Iāve been told. Iāll be getting shot all weekend on this one. Thanks for the heads up Davidstar. :tup:

Yea the sound track to Everyday Shooter bugs me. Itās like elevator music. The kind you put on when you go to sleep.
YES!!! That is it. it is like that music that others sleep to. It doesnāt effect my gameplay (at least I donāt think it does) but damn.
Ironically enough, I did run a similar experiment due to the options in Space invaders: Inifinity geneās ābring your own musicā mode. Yes. I wore that thing the hell out. I ran everything I could through it. My feelings are this.
Country music is just to damn hardcore for me. I get killed too much on it.
J-Pop is all good. :tup: rock out with my guns a blazin.

Everyday shooter is badness because it takes away all your old familiar things like power-ups. no. one weapon, one strength, all day. How long can you last? how bad are YOU? God forbid that your finger slips on the controlls. You wonāt even live long enough to regret it on the higher levels. me? I will not be satisfied until I smash some high level records. this time, more than everā¦

So I have been hearing a lot about Batsugun/Ketsui/Espgaluda being playable on mame. I have the latest version but Batsugun still has no sound. Do I need to patch it or get some other files?
I liked Everyday Shooterās music except for the 3rd stage one.
