I have the DC version of Castle Shikigami 2. It’s in Japanese so I have no idea what’s going on. Fun shooter though. I will get the PS2 version just so I can understand the story.
Oh yeah, Ibara for the PS2 is HYPE! Great soundtrack and a fun game too.

If you can understand what the story is in the english version of Shikigami, I will give a cookie. The translation is that bad.
If any of you find the english release here’s some of the bad dialogue I can remember:
1 Player
Ko (Pretty much the whole game. BEATING YOU DOWN)
Kim (Ending)
Hyuga (Pretty much whole story. ESPECIALLY 4-2 Boss)
Roger (Within the first three stages is something hilarious)
2 Player (doesn’t matter which player is which)
Ko and Kim (possibly the two funniest story parts in the game, beginning of stage 3 and the ending. Check above my avatar for one line.)
More to come if I can remember anything else. There’s too much funny to remember all at once.

Starhammer, have you played Aegis Wing yet? It doesn’t really look like a bullet hell game but it is free. And they say its not too shaaby. It’s on teh 360 for download. I need to play this. It looks fun as hell, and then it’s multiplayer @.@ I haven’t played a good multiplayer shooter in a while

I haven’t seen that one yet since I don’t own a 360, but I’ll have to keep it in mind for when I get one. I’ll try and convince a friend of mine to download it the next time I 'm at his house. his problem is that he is no good at shooters so he probably won’t want to do it. if I get it whenever I get a 360, I’ll let ya know.

well, my mission to take down E.S.P.Ra De on one credit is off to a shaky, but definite start. what I’ve learned is this…
first three stages are okay, but the third stage will require you to use the shield.
learning when and where to pick up the skulls (the brown boxes that show up after you’ve powered up your regular shot) can mean the difference between getting caught shieldless in a tight spot and living on to see the next stage.
stages 4 and 5 are completely unfair. know when to dodge and know when to shield.
those squeaky maid things piss me off. damn bitches.
kill first, pick up icons later.
unless I’m wrong, there is a free man on the fifth stage. I think it shows up just before the halfway point. I’ve seen one show up just about everytime I’m on that stage, so I think there’s one meant to be there.
when you get the final boss down to the last life bar, she starts throwing those hands at you. if you get caught near the bottom of the screen, there’s a chance that it will be the widespread shot that you can dodge through if you’re quick. beware though, because the next shot WILL be aimed at whereever you are.
hitting the shield button and hitting her with the psi-blast will make her leave the screen for a second or two. useful if you’re getting too much heat on the final form. if anyone else has any useful info, I’d certainly welcome it.
