I just got Mushihimesama and must admit itās a blast to play. Itās been awhile since Iāve had this much fun playing shooters. Anyways, I have a problem. The game will not save my high scores. When I was a kid playing NES, there were certain games that didnāt save scores, so I would write it down on paper. I thought in this day and age, it was a thing of the past.
I have varified that there is a save file on the memory card, and the options are saved, but what gives? Anyone have a work around this? Possibly a bug? Iāve tried searching on google, but didnāt find jack and Gamefaqs didnāt help.
my first question is going to be the most obvious. Have you tried switching memory cards and/or systems? if so, it could be a bum disk. Iād send it back if it isnāt keeping your info, but make sure to eliminate everything else before going to that step. except for one bootleg game I got overseas, Iāve never had a problem with games screwing my save data. Itās almost always the memory cardās fault. As far as high scores, Iāll start trying to grab some screenshots when I play and put them up in here. everyone else can jump in on the fun too.
I want to buy Star Soldier for my PSP for like $25 and some change. Should I?
My PSP needs some shooting action on it outside of Metal Slug (and I donāt like Gradius soā¦).
Stand out features for Star Soldier. Old School shmup music, rotating the psp 90 degrees to make it like an arcade screen, and a few little extras. As reviews have stated, itās no Ikaruga but I didnāt enjoy Ikaruga that much soā¦
My hands manā¦ they be itchin.
I JUST NEED TO GET SHOT! Fuck is that such a bad thing?
since I donāt have a psp myself, I googled the info and checked it out. Iāve played a game or two from that series and Iām not dissapointed. if youāve got the cash to blow, Iād say do it. a good old-fashioned shoot everything game, but I wouldnāt expect much on the wow factor.
I got Lightening Force (Thunder Force 4) recently and I just popped it in today. While Iāve always loved this game, itās dirty as hell. Absolutely no warnings as to where or when anything is going to come from. Even a simple boss attack will come out so fast youāll be wondering what hit you. (literally) Heavy memorization and reflexes required.
Yeah after stage 5 itās just blatent ass whooping. Fuck having the new weapon. āStop shooting?! To charge my super weapon?! Do you know what thread I report to?!ā
And here we all thought that only bullet hell could be a challenge.
Thereās a boss in the game, but i forget what level itās in. Its a turtle(i think) and it just randomly slams onto the floor SO FRIGGIN fast you canāt avoid it.
Then thereās the level where you fight some bugs that carry around this big fat thing that shoots lasers. Another annoying as fuck boss fight.
Doesnāt help that having more weapons = longer boss fight in this game.
