Me vs. Deviljin01’s Viper. Pretty fun matches. Doing my vortex on Viper is extremely difficult since you have to either do it meaty or do a few 1 frame links or hope a 4 frame move can start the combo (since she can duck the second hit of TC4 when ducking), but I end up pulling it off once I believe.

I am also applying a few more tricks and am using stronger combos here and there, although not as much in this video.

Viper is one of the Characters that is giving me hard time. watching these match made me think of doin some nice stuff against her that i never though of.

You see to prefer st.mk>tsumuji knockdown to mk cmd into kunai. at 2.45
Do you find that easier than going for neck-breaker?
I also love the cmd tricks after the knockdown.
I don’t think its easier per se, but if he blocks my TC then I can do different moves like different tsumijis and different tricks and its safe so I do it from a lot of different moves. And it can be extremely ambiguous, more so than the one from neckbreaker I believe. That kunai vortex on Viper is extremely difficult though cause you have to do it meaty or else viper will crouch and dodge your TC4.

Alex, it appears that momochi uses the same vortex as you do! It looks much more ambiguous than neck breaker to SJ kunai vortex. Good S in those vids, thanks.

Daigo’s Ryu is pretty solid, Momochi couldn’t do anything. I don’t really know Ibuki top players, but is Momochi a so strong Ibuki?
What amazed me is that I saw 13 times the same match, the players didn’t change of strategy. Is Ibuki so limited against turtle Ryus?
Even though momochi dropped cr.jp s.fk links like crazy, and was too scared to do kunai super. The match seemed hopeless.
That match was depressing, but what do you expect? Super has been out for like 2 months so Hopefully people will improve their use of ibuki… or she’ll end up being completely gimicky? Momochi seemed to only win when he didn’t play safe (except one set lol), but I dunno…
Could be though that Momochi was playin on xbox360 and not his native system PS3 (believe there is a 1 frame difference in inputs right?), because he was missing links left and right…

From top to bottom would be oldest to most recent. Any tips would help as I still have many problems from dropped combos to still not even being about to sjc into ultra. Also, my execution still seems to be poor, as you can see in my command lines that I tried to do something and they’d come out completely different, making me eat an ultra or miss a perfectly good opportunity to punish.
im 90% positive that sko’s ibuki wouldve done a whole lot more better.
anyways,its still too early to be using ibuki in tournies.she needs more time.
