as for the Penguin kick: just watch the penguin kick thing cause tis punishable in lots of situation, i use it just to confuse opponents sometimes giving them hard time to think on how to react.

I find that a lot of people tend to overuse kunais, and forget about just regular jump-ins. In this matchup you’ll find that buktooth uses kunais on knockdown jump-ins that could’ve otherwise been an ambiguous cross-up. In general, well-spaced jump-ins that cross up only on superjump tend to throw off a lot of players, and you’ll find that a lot opportunities for those in non-neckbreaker knockdowns (i.e. throws, sweeps, even ex-neckbreaker).

The LK Jump in work way better against Shotos than the Kunai since it beats SRKs. It also allows you to punish Akuma’s teleport with neckbreaker.

Wasn’t he jumping in with Kunai instead of LK to prevent from being wakeup headbutted? He had the timing down to stuff EX headbutt on wakeup, so mike started blocking them instead.

am serious… i can really pressure Boxer massively without lettin him even breath, and if he corner pressure i try to EX raida in the right time, specially that u can grab Raida from his charging moves sometimes (or specially if he tried to spam pokes right after i block em) other than that, then i confuse him with a lot of mind game and SJC dash’s all the way.
i dont see how and why boxer is that hard like wut people says >< i seriously keep beating very High BP boxers that easily…even to be honest Philly-one match against Boxer, philly just didnt put enough pressure that’s all i guess.

You keep saying you beat high BP Boxers. What were their PP’s?
TAP is risky since it might autocorrect and you’re just TAP straight into Ibuki’s TC. Or she can probably do some sort of option select with neckbreaker if you TAP the other way.
Also if Boxer has meter, ex headbutt is better since there’s a chance it’ll autocorrect. Otherwise he’ll headbutt safely away.
For anything that might autocorrect in your face, I always use regular jump kunais. On reversal timing, anything they attempt will be directed towards the side you jumped from, making you safer from a lot of attacks. Still isn’t 100% safe against everything (i.e. Deejay EX air kicks, Rufus EX Snake Strike), but it’s good against more traditional AAs, including shoryus and Cammy’s AA.
Every video thread I have seen on these forums has had some bit of discussion largely because someone sees a video and makes a comment about that. You still see a large number of videos though.
