If that’s the case, you should update the first post so there are some good vids to look at without having to sift through all the pages of discussion. No offense, but there are a lot of garbage posts in this thread and not enough videos, Cubanned was exactly right. This is your thread, you didn’t make it just to see your name in lights did you? I’m really not trying to be a dick, but this thread sucks, and all it would take to fix it is going through and finding the good vids and putting them on the front page, and you’re the only one who can do it. Help us please.
And I don’t mean to be a jerk, but welcome to 95% of the video threads on SRK. The vast majority of them still have the front page covered with videos from when the original SF4 came out. The reason being that it is a hell of a lot of work that will go to waste since videos are generally viewed once and forgotten. The only videos that are worth putting on the front page are instructional videos.
I am not trying to sound elitist, nor am I trying to say your idea is a bad one. I am just saying this isn’t much different from most video threads. Besides you can usually find some good videos on the last 2 or 3 pages.

Funny thing is, discussions in video threads usually lead to more discussions outside of the video thread in regards to the character. To put it simple, LoyalSol is correct since stuff like this goes on daily. Have you checked out the Akuma video thread lately? It’s practically a discussion in it’s self lol.
Anyway, that vid that you posted of Tokido fighting AirGen was real nice. Tokido is the exact reason as to why Im beginning to question MK Tsumuji so much. Just mash reversal DP at all times lol. Either way, was good shit. AirGen missed the timing once on the Vortex I think, but that’s about it.

lol #1 Ken on XBL is a flowchart Ken? I couldn’t bear to watch anymore after like 30 seconds in.
He is hardly a flow chart Ken if you had have watched the whole match. I only counted one random stray FP dragon punch. He zoned well and his block strings were pretty tight. Why cant people give credit where its due instead of making such pointless comments.
The fact is we are on an Ibuki forum and you are presumably here to watch Ibuki videos. Why would you switch off after 30 secs because the character who Ibuki is fighting isnt playing as you would like?
hum… the ken didnt seem flowchart to me. that stray srk was after an empty crossup. it looks like he wanted to catch a trip-guard attack or a throw tech.
First round:
- After a raida, Ibuki command dashes up to begin pressure, but Ken does a random lp.dp.
- After a knockdown, Ken does a crossup tatsu into unsafe hp.dp.
- When Ibuki goes for the combo (after a whiffed air tatsu) cr.LP , cr.LP , st.LP , st.MK , neckbreaker, she accidentally (or purposely? I dunno) dropped the st.LP , st.MK 3 frame link, but the Ken I guess didn’t bother blocking.
- Just before end of round 1, Ken does an empty jump into unsafe hp.dp.
Flowchart or not, I don’t think this guy (Ken) is worth watching at all.
@Tosh: Would you like it if this thread were full of Ibuki vs scrubs? Not that this Ken is a total scrub, but I wanna see top players that know wtf they’re doing. I’d rather not get the wrong idea in the Ibuki vs Ken matchup that I should be looking out for crossup tatsu into hp.dp regardless if I block it or not.
Yeah that Ken player definitely played too smart to be a flowcharter.

He obviously isn’t the greatest ken but he certainly isn’t flowchart either. It’s hard to judge which opponents are worth seeing though and BP seems like a semi decent place to start. Yes BP is a flawed system (I’m the 10th Ibuki in the world on XBL according to BP which is the biggest indictment against the system I can think of lol) but it’s at least a slightly better filter than completely at random.
You did pretty good against Air! Many ppl dont know that he was one of the best Ryus in JP before SSF4 came out.
