Yeah, it should definitely be patched. I’ve provided a technical explanation of this setup here.
Can Vega’s U1 cross up when a character stands up? I found this by mistake when I tried blocking normally while standing but got hit. I can provide video if this is new stuff.
Yes it can cross you up depending on the distance. its pretty rare unless you are ibuki then it might be more often because of her wonky wake up animation invincibility
Thats dirty See this on eventhubs earlier too.
Ibuki Sako Combo 0:51~
you forgot
Ok yet another Unblockable Ultra 1 setup on Ibuki and yes she cant escape it as well, its only a matter of time before vega players get the timing down and rain destruction on Ibuki lol! just kidding, CAPCOM we need that patch ASAP! just an update on the situation
Made Master rank! =)
now back to working 54 hours a week…
“Ibuki can cancel her (pre) jump into a FA but not (pre) super jump.” (opposite to CViper)
This actually explains a lot.

summary-the left corner of the screen will not let you cross up with hk teleport unless you use ONLY one cancellable light attack (either lp or lk). no combos
dont know if this is known tech but i thought id share. if it isnt, then ill explain further. im also yet to go into char specifics, but again, if it isnt known tech, i will go in further.
Sorry to steal your thunder, but is already known, from a while back too. The corners are different from one another. Its not Ibuki specific Tech. Some Rufus crossups only work on one corner (right side i think) I THINK. It was also being suggested to get fixed by a lot of people in the Capcom forums back when they were taking suggestions for the 2013 version.
i knew as much as the corners were different sizes. what i didnt know is whether we knew that the specific type of normalled cancelled changed the outcome.
I think some one posted that once some time ago, not sure if I read that here though. Also, Juggles (or reset) into HK command dash won’t cross under on a corner. Idk if regular dashes do though can’t say I’ve tried. Nice find though.
oh well. if i cant that video ( or a video) on the topic, ill see if there is any char specifics of some sort. but thnks for replying.
Nice izuna
EX Pugera’s footage at 16:00. Can anyone test the setup he used against Rog? Cr.mp, sj.mk after neckbreaker. My power supply is in RMA right now so I can’t test it myself.
Hey everyone,
I am working on footsies right now and I was wondering if anyone had any videos or links to videos of Ibuki gameplay that did not use any vortex.
In my quick testing, it seems to be a simple sj.MK crossup, but aimed/timed very carefully such that anything Boxer tries will autocorrect and whiff in front of Ibuki. Sorry if you were expecting another unblockalol!
In terms of timing, you have to be really on point, else the sj.MK will whiff.
With some other quick random tests, I thought I could get an unblockable with walk back , st.LP , sj.MK. Didn’t find one, but noticed that this sj.MK is really ambiguous on Boxer. Switched it with sj.HP and became an ambiguous sj.HP that can also cross up.
**tl,dr: **
Neckbreaker , cr.MP , sj.MK = always crossup
Neckbreaker , walk back , st.LP , sj.HP = ambiguous sj.HP that can also crossup
Another Rog setup is Neckbreaker - step fwd b.MP - j.HP OS nexkbreaker/U2. Any ES rush or TAP will whiff and lose to your option select
(if Balrog wakes up crouching the j.HP whiffs though lol)
^ what about j.MK?
