I still don’t understand why some Ibuki players insist on throwing away meter by doing random EX kunais.
+1000000000000 . I only use them to get chip damage and finish a match, or to be safe when I do a jump back. A lot of people like to spam it 
I see a lot do throw random EX kunais, but if you are good at reading an opponent then they work really well at disrupting the attacker’s momentum. Of course, it has to ideally be a counter-hit all of the time. Really, despite being situational, they helped to open up the opponent.
I can do that just fine without using EX meter. It just seems like a throw-away use of a bar, when that could be utilized as a more damaging combo ender, unblockalol setup, but more importantly, to get out of a bad situation (FADC, or EX hien).
I only ever use it for chip, or to kill an opponent. For some reason, EX kunai seems to have pretty good super/ultra stuffing properties against certain characters. i.e. Honda is SO free for chip damage ftw.
3 bars for a safe reversal is pretty pricey.
I agree, but sometimes it’s necessary for when things don’t go your way. Sometimes I might get away with doing a random EX kazegiri, hope I caught them off guard, and do another kazegiri when I land. You’d be surprised how often this works against opponents that aren’t ready for it. Hell, I’ve won many matches doing EX kazegiri, kunai, my opponent does a focus attack, and I just do another EX kazegiri when I land.

Normally, yes. Which is why I’m so surprised when this actually works. I figured I might as well try, since I’m going to eat the focus attack, and somehow, some players manage to screw up the timing of the FA release. Who knew.
I don’t think it’s reliable, but if you don’t feel like investing 3 bars for a safe exit strategy, it might possibly work. It’s hyper-aggressive and reckless, but sometimes, that works against certain players.
Normally i just with backdashes and focus-dashes. Some of the cast have no solid ways of punishing that. I love my meter too much to use it on silly things like defense.
