So I started playing this and I noticed that the character I really liked didn’t seem to be playable. I am talking about that 20 chick. I haven’t seen any talk of unlocking her, but there is a movie of her fighting on the capcom site here.

the bottom link says 20 and there are 2 vids of her fighting. She is being played there, so there must be a way to get her. These vids are crazy and make me want to play the game more.

“To unlock #20, play as Loki in Time Attack and beat it within 15 minutes. Afterwards you should be able to play as her by highlighting Loki and press square.”
where do you guys go to read or download the manga?

Just make sure you unlock Nejima and Odin first before you try to unlock #20 otherwise it won’t work.

Where is Survival Mode? >.>
I know how to unlock everyone, but… I’m stuck at trying to find Survival Mode, haha.
i was thinking about getting this…but, i heard that Kensai and the other masters are absent in it. But the Boxer dude is in it tho…guess ill play him.
The masters are there, but they aren’t playable. As well they shouldn’t be.
I mean, they’re masters. They’d beat everyone else up like they were little kids. =\
That’s not really fun. I mean, you can somewhat be Shigure, in her minigame. XD
But other than that… I can see why the Masters aren’t playable.
The others aren’t up to their level yet. I assume that the masters will be playable when the other characters reach their level.
if the masters arent playable then they arent there…
also your logic about “they’re are masters and would beat everyone” is just dumb. Its not like they cant balance the characters son. Dbz games have Goku in them (strongest hero in the series )
The naruto games have Jounins, Akatsuki and Hokages in them (while they’re fighting pre-teens)

Yeah, I see where you’re coming from. There could be balance and stuff, sure, but I guess they were just following the story?
Maybe the masters will be there in the sequel, if there’ll be one.
But either way, I still can’t find Survival mode… =(
I think the big problem with the masters right now for the part of the story they are telling in the game is that they don’t fight that much (Ragnarok arc) so there is not enough to base moves on, unlike Dragon Ball, Naruto, Gouki etc where those characters are very active, or at least a heck of a lot more active than the masters in Kenichi in the beginning. After that storyline I’ve seen them fight a lot more in the manga. So maybe a sequel.
But yeah Nejima doesn’t fight at all and he’s in the game. Ohs well guess they need a ‘Dan.’ 
Yeah, that’s where my logic came from.
Cause in the anime, the masters don’t really fight at all. The only one that fights is Kensei, but that’s against his brother, for that one episode, and the fight doesn’t even really last that long.
Renka isn’t even a character in the game either. I liked Renka, she was hot.
^fair enough…well is Hermit in the game atleast? I know the Takeda is but, if i get this game ill prolly play those two…

Yes, of course Hermit’s in the game. He’s one of the Ragnarok, dur. =P
All of the fists of Ragnarok are in there. From VIII all the way to I.
And then Ukita, Takeda, Kenichi and Miu.
OK I have unlocked all the characters from playing Story mode;
How do I unlock the rest of the cast?
Beat 10 characters in survival mode with all of the members of Ragnarok 8 heads minus Odin - Kisara/Valkyrie, Hermit, Loki, Siegfried, Thor, Freya and Berserker and then you unlock Odin. You have to unlock Odin first before you get everyone else.
After Odin beat 10 characters in survival mode with Kenichi to get Niijima.
After you get Nejima you have to beat Time Attack mode in 15 minutes with Loki to unlock #20. She shows up as an alternate costume for Loki so to speak.
You have to do it in this specific order.
Kenichi, Miu, Hermit, Kisara/Valkyrie, Freya and Odin have alternate costumes that you can get by beating score attack mode with the characters at any point in time you want to do that.
I had hope for this game but automatic blocking kills it! No high/low mixups!
