enter the option menu (pressing up after entering the game-type selection screen) and look out for an option that shows
ON
OFF
select on and game will be auto-saved

Special thanks to Cloudeu of Gamefaqs. He made this little guide for me on how to pass all of the training modes in the Story Mode so just in case anyone else needs / will need help with that. I got stuck at Chapter 3 but passed Story Mode thanks to this guide. Now I’m gonna play Time Attack mode to unlock some costumes. 
Chapter 1 training
Back step/ front step for 5 times
Move up or down for 5 times
Weak Attack (Square) for 5 times
Strong attack (Triangle) 5 times
Throw (forward/backward + triangle) for 3 times
Guard for 10 times
Chapter 2
Square X 4 for 3 times
Level 1 X for 5 times
down \ forward X triangle for 5 times
Counter ( O ) for 3 times
Chapter 3
True Killer move X 2 (R2)
X + True killer move for twice
Chapter 4
3 X Square +down \ forward square for 3 times
Counter ( O ) for 3 times
Counter before the last attack hits you, with square for 3 times
Chapter 5
R1 for twice
Activate R1, then counter miu’s attack with down \ forward Square
R1, down \ forward Square, then R2 for 3 times
What do the electric guy’s charges do?
Loki’s charges add more damage and guardstun to his shock baton related moves, it goes up to 5 and at that point I also think he causes “Break” status much easier. I haven’t been really playing this ( since HNK is out, lawls ) but can someone also confirm that some of his moves might become unblockable?

I’ve been watching the anime on Youtube, it’s pretty cool so far. Got up to the second episode. It was kind of hilarious because the entire episode was about freaking side stepping, like you have to do in the game a lot! I guess that’s why this is a 3D game. 
Played some Miu, she doesn’t seem that strong. She has a few nice combos, I loved sweeping and uppercutting and doing whatever I could to juggle characters in the air. That was fun but she leaves herself wide open for a few supers that she could get knocked out of and caught in a combo really easy. I did better playing her on Fury than on Calm but I’m starting to think that I am going to lean towards Fury for all of the characters(R1 + True Killer Move FTW). Seems to me like Miu is mid tier at best and not as strong as Kenichi. Well to me anyway.

Here’s the drawing you unlock if you beat score attack mode with Hermit, I took a picture of this after reading Will Smith’s post. As you can see, it’s very similar to the drawing you see of Ken in his Super Street Fighter II Turbo ending! Here Hermit is shopping with Kenichi’s little sister Honoka, in ST it was Ken with Eliza.
Ha ha looks like someone on the Kenichi staff is a Street Fighter Fan. :lovin:
Will Smith also pointed out that the Score Attack drawing you got with Valkyria is a homage to Cammy’s ST ending drawing, with a cat and a similar coat. Me, I don’t see it as much as the Hermit / Ken one but here’s a picture of it anyway -
If anything to me, the pic of Valkyria that can be viewed during story mode is a little closer, at least the pose is.
I got it for fun but NONE OF THE MASTERS ARE PLAYABLE! COME ON! How can you make a Kenichi fighting game without any of the masters playable? I so wanted to kick ass with Appachai. 
Anyone who’s read the manga, I’ve heard there’s another storyline after Ragnarok. True? I really hope Capcom makes another one and adds the damn masters this time.
I got the latest volume of the manga the other day, can’t read Japanese though… I got the last one and the first volume to compare it to the anime. It’s more or less the same but in the usual anime tradition they speeded up meeting most of the characters.
So by the time of the latest volume, yeah they do move past Ragnarok, most of the cast of this game is competing in a tourney of sorts where they are fighting other characters. They are all sitting with each other during the tourney, in the typical once we were enemies and now we are friends manga / anime kind of way lol!
There’s an ad in this volume for the Capcom game of course ha ha!
As far as masters go, Hayato (Miu’s grandfather) in the tourney is fighting wearing a mask to hide his identity. Um, doesn’t seem like it’s much to contribute to fighting game moves since he beat up one kid so fast you couldn’t even see it, looked like he was just standing there but his kicks or punches were so fast no one could see them… Masters are too broken!
There is a girl in there who looks A LOT like Chun-Li, it’s pretty funny. I’ll scan it later.
Oh, according to Japanese Gamaga magazine Kenichi came in as #29 of the top selling 100 games in Japan in March. Not bad. :tup:
Sure masters are broken, but who cares? Having a Kenichi fighting game without playable Appachai is just pointless, wasted potential.
If the girl you’re talking about who I think it is, that’s Kensei’s daughter. Or was it granddaughter, I don’t remember. And yeah I’m pretty sure the mangaka for Kenichi is a big Street Fighter fan, given how much Miu looks like Cammy. I’ll bet he approached Capcom to do the game instead of them approaching him.
Anyway if it sells that’s good, buffs up the possibility of a sequel.
Yeah maybe the masters will show up in a sequel. You never know though, you know how Japan is and their whole ‘youth’ thing and kids over adults. Like the ol’ anime / manga saying goes, why send an adult to do a job when a kid can get it done twice as fast? Lol who in their right mind would let a kid pilot a big robot or run an entire army ha ha ha!
Appachai’s really funny though. I can see for his win quote him endlessly saying “APPA!” over and over again.

Anyone have a gameplay video? I’m curious to see how this looks, but not from screens…i’ve already seen screenshots. Also, i’m hopin that this game will actually be something special.I miss Capcom in the fighting game world.Too Me the last great fighter they made was CVS2 and that came out, what 2001.
Is Kenichi stronger than Miu by now?He gets beat up alot by her in the anime.

OMG…THAT LOOKS AMAZING.Is this coming to the U.S or will I have to get it imported.Either way I want it.And I hope this sells well so that Capcom will make more fighters.
It’s been out for a while now.At least two months.
It’s a fun game.It’s kind of easy though,but it’s still a nice game.
Probably never going to come out in the United States.Outside of Japan,I don’t think many people have heard of it.
