Blanka is looking really good. They made him fit into V’s system really well and he has about everything you need on paper to be good in this game. Including 3 bar unga triggers and safe/plus pressure after a normal cancel. SFV its much easier to convert things into scary damage so he won’t have the hit you like a flea unless he red focuses problem he had in IV.
Correct me if I’m wrong but Blanka usually bodies big bodies.
Abigail is a much different big body though. He’s like what would happen if a big body could do most of the stuff that a shoto or urien could do. He’s one of the best big bodies to hit a fighter in a long time.
With that said, Blanka should have good options vs him. If his command hop moves him forward fast and far enough that should allow him to escape Abigail’s armored HP corner shenanigans in VT1. Anybody with a command dash that passes through the body can pass through it and not have to worry about the charge/unblockable mind game.
I like how they rewarded Latin America for having a player that won Capcom Cup by making it so ranking tournaments give less points and not giving the region a single Premier event. The US really does need to have 7 premiers I guess. Can’t have too many DidimoKof situations next time.

Lets be honest the majority of spectators and potential sponsors care a hell of a lot more about backing big US events rather than Latin American events.

I know it nullifies single hit projectiles, but the timing is tough. It does seem like a good whiff punishing tool, if you know that you’ll be able to dodge the attack as she reels back during the startup but that requires a pretty damn good read (which I’m sure better players than me are capable of), but are there any other uses for it?
